This year class 10th board exam will be started from 27 February 2025 and will last upto 19 March 2025, it will take around 20 days to complete the class 10th board exam. The first exam will be held on 27 February 2025 for Hindi (Including Vocational Students) subject and the last exam will be held on 19 March 2025 for Science subject. The practical exams for all students, both regular and private, will be held from 10th February 2025 to 25th March 2025.

Motivation for studying Arithmetic Progression Derivation of the nth term and sum of the first n terms of A.P. and their application in solving daily life problems.

Division of a line segment in a given ratio (internally).

UNIT V: TRIGONOMETRY
1. INTRODUCTION TO TRIGONOMETRY
Trigonometric ratios of an acute angle of a right-angled triangle. Proof of their existence (well defined); motivate the ratios whichever are defined at 0oand 90º. Values of the trigonometric ratios of 30º, 45º and 60º. Relationships between the ratios.
2. TRIGONOMETRIC IDENTITIES
Proof and applications of the identity sin2A + cos2A = 1. Only simple identities to be given. Trigonometric ratios of complementary angles.
3. HEIGHTS AND DISTANCES: Angle of elevation, Angle of Depression.
Simple problems on heights and distances. Problems should not involve more than two right triangles. Angles of elevation / depression should be only 30°, 45°, 60°.
UNIT VI: MENSURATION
1. AREAS RELATED TO CIRCLES
Motivate the area of a circle; area of sectors and segments of a circle. Problems based on areas and perimeter / circumference of the above said plane figures. (In calculating area of segment of a circle, problems should be restricted to central angle of 60°, 90°and 120° only. Plane figures involving triangles, simple quadrilaterals and circle should be taken.)
2. SURFACE AREAS AND VOLUMES
Surface areas and volumes of combinations of any two of the following: cubes, cuboids, spheres, hemispheres and right circular cylinders/cones. Frustum of a cone. Problems involving converting one type of metallic solid into another and other mixed problems. (Problems with combination of not more than two different solids be taken).
UNIT VII: STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY
1. STATISTICS
Mean, median and mode of grouped data (bimodal situation to be avoided). Cumulative frequency graph.
2. PROBABILITY
Classical definition of probability. Simple problems on finding the probability of an event.

Conditions of eligibility for admission to class X.
1. Candidates who have been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Candidates can not take admission directly in class X.
3. Candidates had completed a regular course of study for class IX and passed class IX examination from a school affilicated to this Board.
4. The candidates percentage for attendance should be 75% so that the Board to make him/her eligible for the Examinations.
5. Candidate can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parents(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the marksheet and the Transfer Certificate duly counter signed by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.
6. There is no age limit for candidates taking the Examination.
7. Candidate should have doucments in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.

Paper Analysis
The paper for both Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic has conducted. The paper was of 80 marks, and students have to complete it in the allocated time duration. The paper was divided into 4 sections, namely A, B, C, D. The question paper pattern resembles a similar pattern as the Sample Paper. The question paper contains MCQ and Fill in the blacks so those students who have thoroughly solved the questions of the NCERT can easily answer those. Questions of 3 marks were easy to answer. Few questions from in the long section were difficult to answer. The overall paper was scoring students can easily achieve 65+ marks.
Major Highlights
1. The difficulty level of the Mathematics paper 2020: Easy to Moderate.
2. Nothing asked was out of the syllabus and most of the questions were from NCERT Textbook.
3. The pattern of the Class 10th Mathematics paper was similar to the latest Class 10th Mathematics Sample Paper 2020.
4. All the questions in the paper were asked from the latest NCERT syllabus.

6. In the Section D, there will be 6 question of four mark each.
7. There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in two questions of 1 mark each, two questions of 2 marks each, three questions of 3 marks each, and three questions of 4 marks each. You have to attempt only one of the alternatives in all such questions.

2. For regular students, practical exams will be conducted from 10th February 2025 to 15th March 2025 at their respective schools or colleges. For private or self-study students, practical exams will take place from 27th February 2025 to 25th March 2025 at their designated exam centers.

...MP BOARD EXAM CLASS 10TH LATEST UPDATE
Finally, wait is over and Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced class 10 Board exams date. This year class 10th board exam will be started from 27 February 2025 and will last upto 19 March 2025, it will take around 20 days to complete the class 10th board exam. The first exam will be held on 27 February 2025 for Hindi (Including Vocational Students) subject and the last exam will be held on 19 March 2025 for Science subject. The practical exams for all students, both regular and private, will be held from 10th February 2025 to 25th March 2025.
