Finally, wait is over and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced class 12 Board exams date. This year class 12th board exam will be started from 15 February 2025 and will last upto 04 April 2025, it will take around 49 days to complete the class 12th board exam. The first exam will be held on 15 February 2025 for Entrepreneurship (Including Vocational Students) subject and the last exam will be held on 04 April 2025 for Psychology subject. The practical exams/Internal Assesment/Projects & the board's annual theory examinations are scheduled to start w.e.f 01th January 2025 and 15th February 2025.

A. List of Experiments
1. Prepare a temporary mount to observe pollen germination.
2. Collect and study soil from at least two different sites and study them for texture, moisture content, pH, and water-holding capacity. Correlate with the kinds of plants found in them.
3. Collect water from two different water bodies around you and study them for pH, clarity, and presence of any living organism.
4. Study the presence of suspended particulate matter in the air at two widely different sites.
5. Study the plant population density by quadrat method.
6. Study the plant population frequency by quadrat method.
7. Prepare a temporary mount of the onion root tip to study mitosis.
8. Study the effect of different temperatures and three different pH on the activity of salivary amylase on starch.
9. Isolate DNA from available plant material such as spinach, green pea seeds, papaya, etc.
B. Study/observation of the following (Spotting)
1. Flowers adapted to pollination by different agencies (wind, insects, birds).
2. Pollen germination on stigma through a permanent slide or scanning electron micrograph.
3. Identification of stages of gamete development, i.e., T.S. of testis and T.S. of ovary through permanent slides (from grasshopper/mice).
4. Meiosis in onion bud cells or grasshopper testis through permanent slides.
5. T.S. of blastula through permanent slides (Mammalian).
6. Mendelian inheritance using seeds of different colors/sizes of any plant.
7. Prepared pedigree charts of any one of the genetic traits such as rolling of tongue, blood groups, ear lobes, widow's peak, and colorblindness.
8. Controlled pollination - emasculation, tagging, and bagging.
9. Common disease-causing organisms like Ascaris, Entamoeba, Plasmodium, and any fungus-causing ringworm through permanent slides, models, or virtual images. Comment on symptoms of diseases that they cause.
10. Two plants and two animals (models/virtual images) found in xeric conditions. Comment upon their morphological adaptations.
11. Two plants and two animals (models/virtual images) found in aquatic conditions. Comment upon their morphological adaptations.

Conditions of eligibility for admission to class XII
1. Candidates who have been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Candidates can not take admission directly in class XII.
3. Candidates had completed a regular course of study for class XI and passed class XI examination from a school affilicated to this Board.
4. The candidates percentage for attendance should be 75% so that the Board to make him/her eligible for the Examinations.
5. Candidate can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parents(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the marksheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.
6. There is no age limit for candidates taking the Examination.
7. Candidate should have doucments in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.

CBSE Biology Analysis 2022
CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Biology paper 2022 was conducted May 30, 2022. The Biology exam was 'scoring'. The paper was easy and not lengthy at all. Students were able to solve the paper on time. The long answer type questions were different but straight-forward.
1. This question paper contains 60 questions, out of which 50 questions are to be attempted. All questions carry equal marks.
2. The question paper consists of three Sections-Section A, B and C.
3. Section A consists of 24 questions, attempt any 20 questions from any 20 questions Q. No. 1 to 24.
4. Section B also consists of 24 questions, attempt any 20 questions from Q. No. 25 to 48.
5. Section C consists of 12 questions. Attempt any 10 questions from Q. No. 49 to 60.
6. There is only one correct option for every Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), Marks will not be awarded for answering more than one option.
7. All questions carry equal marks. There is no negative marking.
Major Highlights
1. The difficulty level of the CBSE Biology paper 2022: Easy to moderate
2. The exam pattern and difficulty level were similar as that of CBSE sample paper.
3. The question paper is balanced and student's friendly paper which is a perfect mix of analysis, application and memory-based questions.
4. There was nothing out of the prescribed CBSE syllabus. All the questions asked were straight from the NCERT books

The first exam will be held on 15 February 2025 for Entrepreneurship (Including Vocational Students) subject and the last exam will be held on 04 April 2025 for Psychology subject. The practical exams/Internal Assesment/Projects & the board's annual theory examinations are scheduled to start w.e.f 01th January 2025 and 15th February 2025.
CBSE Biology Analysis 2022
CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Biology paper 2022 was conducted May 30, 2022. The Biology exam was 'scoring'. The paper was easy and not lengthy at all. Students were able to solve the paper on time. The long answer type questions were different but straight-forward.
1. This question paper contains 60 questions, out of which 50 questions are to be attempted. All questions carry equal marks.
2. The question paper consists of three Sections-Section A, B and C.
3. Section A consists of 24 questions, attempt any 20 questions from any 20 questions Q. No. 1 to 24.
4. Section B also consists of 24 questions, attempt any 20 questions from Q. No. 25 to 48.
5. Section C consists of 12 questions. Attempt any 10 questions from Q. No. 49 to 60.
6. There is only one correct option for every Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), Marks will not be awarded for answering more than one option.
7. All questions carry equal marks. There is no negative marking.

1. The paper will be divided in five sections Section A, Section B, Section C, Section D & Section E.
2. The total number of questions will be 27.
3. There will be no overall choice in the paper. Candidates will be required to answer all questions.
4. Internal choice will be available in two questions of 2 marks each, two questions of 3 marks each and all the three questions of 5 marks each.
5. Section A Question no. 1 to 5 (Multiple choice question one mark each.)
6. Section B Question no. 6 to 12 (Short answer type question two mark each.)
