Description
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the timetable for the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Students can view and download the complete schedule from the board’s official website.
CBSE Class 10 Exam 2026 Schedule
As per the released timetable, the Class 10 board exams will take place from February 17, 2026, to March 10, 2026. The first paper will be Mathematics (Standard and Basic), while the exams will conclude with the French subject. Most papers will be conducted in a single session from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, though a few will have shorter durations from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Similarly, the Class 12 examinations will also begin on February 17, 2026, and continue until April 9, 2026.
Additional Details
This year, approximately 45 lakh students from India and 26 other countries are expected to sit for the exams across 204 subjects. CBSE highlighted that it is the first time the board has released the datesheets nearly 110 days before the commencement of the exams. This early release was made possible due to the timely submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) by schools. Earlier, only a tentative schedule had been provided.
