Description
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to commence the Class 10 and 12 supplementary practical examinations from July 10, 2025. In this regard, the Board has released a detailed set of guidelines for students appearing in the exam. These instructions can be accessed via the official CBSE official website.
Important Guidelines For Candidates
Class 12 students who are listed under the compartment category for practical subjects will only be required to appear for the practical exam. They do not need to reappear for the theory paper, as the marks from their previous theory exam will be retained and considered for the final result.
Students intending to appear for the supplementary practicals must report to their respective schools or examination centres by July 7, 2025, carrying a copy of their mark sheet/result and admit card.
Exam Centre Instructions
As per the official circular:
Practical answer books provided by the respective CBSE regional offices must be used for conducting the examination.
Schools or exam centres conducting the practicals are required to upload the awarded marks on the portal on the same day the exam is held.
For regular students, the practical exams will be held in their own schools.
Private candidates will take their practical exams at the designated centres set up for theory examinations.
