Description
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the schedule for the Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary examinations for the academic year 2025. These exams are set to begin from July 15, 2025. The timetable is now available on CBSE’s official website.
This supplementary exam schedule is intended for students who were unable to pass in one or more subjects during the regular board exams or those aiming to enhance their previous scores. Students are encouraged to check the date sheet and prepare accordingly to make the most of this second chance.
CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025
The supplementary examinations will commence on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, covering a wide range of subjects from both Class 10 and Class 12 syllabi. Most exams will start at 10:30 AM and continue until 1:30 PM, although certain vocational and elective papers may conclude earlier within two hours.
Subjects scheduled for the first day include major academic disciplines such as:
Languages: English Elective, Hindi Elective, Urdu Elective, Sanskrit Elective
Social Sciences: History, Political Science, Geography, Economics
Science & Mathematics: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Engineering Graphics

Commerce Stream: Business Studies, Accountancy

Important Instructions For CBSE Supplementary Examinees
To ensure the examinations proceed without any disruptions, CBSE has issued a set of guidelines for all candidates:
Prohibited Items: Use of mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic communication device is strictly forbidden at exam centres.
Admit Cards: Students must carry their valid admit cards, which contain key information such as exam duration and centre details.
Reading Time: Candidates will be given 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam to read the question paper thoroughly.
Discipline and Conduct: All students must follow the rules laid out by the Board. Any form of misconduct or use of unfair means (UFM) will result in serious consequences under CBSE guidelines.
