ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria
Nationality / Citizenship
Candidate must be:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or
A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., with the intention of permanently settling in India (as per Govt. rules).
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 33 years
Relaxations:
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PwBD (Unreserved) – 10 years
PwBD (OBC) – 13 years
PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years
Ex-Servicemen – up to 33 years + extent of service + 3 years
Other categories (widows, railway staff, etc.) as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) OR ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT OR equivalent qualification.
Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible.
Medical Fitness
Candidates must pass a medical fitness test prescribed by Indian Railways to ensure they are physically fit for duties.
Medical standards include vision requirements (such as A-3, B-1, B-2, C-1 categories depending on post).
Other Conditions
Candidate must have a valid Aadhaar card or enrolment ID during application.
All certificates/claims (age, caste, category, education) must be valid and verifiable.

RRB GROUP D EXAMINATION 2018 : FINAL CONCLUSION
1. In General Science section, the questions asked from Physics, Biology & Chemistry are of class 10th level. Special attention must be paid on topics like Heat, Electricity, Wave, Chemical names of substances, Periodic Table, Human Body, Virus and Bacteria etc. which constitute major portion of this section.
2. In Mathematics section, a candidate must thoroughly prepare topics like Data interpretation based on Pie Chart, Bar Graph etc. which covers 5-6 questions. Special focus must be given to Trigonometry, Profit and loss and Simple & Compound Interest which together contribute to 7-9 Questions.
3. In General Intelligence and Reasoning section, Analogy, Syllogism, Odd One Out and Venn Diagram together contribute to 50% of the section. Candidates should be thorough with these topics.
4. In General Awareness & Current Affairs, the majority of questions are asked from Current Affairs. Candidates must keep themselves up to date with the events being held in India and Worldwide. In static GK; History of India, Geography of India, Polity etc must be prepared in depth. However, the level of these questions is up to Class 10th.

Female Candidates:
Lift and carry 20 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting down the weight
Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds in one attempt
3. Document Verification & Medical Examination
Candidates qualifying PET will be called for Document Verification and must pass the medical fitness test prescribed by Indian Railways.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for RRB Group D, candidates must meet specific age, education, and medical standards set by the Railway Recruitment Boards.

EXAM CENTERS
We went through the official RRB Group D notification (CEN 08/2024). The notification doesn’t give an exact city-wise list of exam centres, because exam cities depend on the RRB zone you apply for. Instead, here’s the detailed info given about exam centres:
RRB Group D Exam Centres
Across India – The CBT will be held in various cities across all States and Union Territories. The exact city and exam centre details are allotted based on the Railway Zone (RRB) you applied for.
City Intimation Slip – Candidates will get a city intimation slip around 10 days before the exam, which will confirm the city of the exam (not the exact venue).
Admit Card – The exact exam centre name and full address will be printed on the admit card, released about 4 days before the exam.
Allocation – Exam centres are allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis (depending on availability in preferred cities chosen during application). Candidates may be allotted a nearby city if seats in the chosen city are full.
Important Note – Once an exam centre is allotted, no request for change of exam city/centre will be entertained by RRB.
