Description

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have released the official RRB Group D 2026 syllabus along with the recruitment notification CEN 09/2025. This year, around 22,000 Level-1 vacancies have been announced for various posts under Indian Railways.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 90 minutes, covering Mathematics, Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness with Current Affairs. Candidates preparing for the exam should carefully understand the complete syllabus and exam structure before starting their preparation.

The CBT exam is designed to assess candidates’ aptitude and general knowledge. The section-wise distribution is as follows:

RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2026

Candidates who qualify the CBT will be called for the PET stage. The physical standards differ for male and female candidates.

Male Candidates

  • Running: 1000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds

  • Weight Carrying: Lift and carry 35 kg over 100 metres in 2 minutes

Female Candidates

  • Running: 400 metres in 3 minutes 10 seconds

  • Weight Carrying: Lift and carry 20 kg over 100 metres in 2 minutes
