The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has opened the online application process for Group D recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official portal rrbapply.gov.in. Through this recruitment drive, the board aims to fill 22,195 Group D vacancies across various railway zones.
The deadline to submit the online application is March 2, 2026. Candidates can pay the application fee for successfully submitted forms until March 4, 2026. The application correction window will be available from March 5 to March 14, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess the required educational or technical qualifications as specified in the official CEN notification from a recognised board, institute, or university. These qualifications should be completed on or before March 2, 2026. The age limit for candidates is 18 to 33 years.
Application Fee
The application fee for general category candidates is ?500. Out of this amount, ?400 will be refunded after deducting applicable bank charges, provided the candidate appears in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Women, Transgender, Minority communities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC), the examination fee is ?250, which will also be refunded after appearing in the CBT.
The fee can be paid using internet banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. Refunds will be processed only for candidates who attend the CBT.
