The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2026 for candidates scheduled to appear in the Level-1 Computer Based Test (CBT) on 13 and 14 August 2026 under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 09/2025.

Candidates can now log in to their respective regional RRB websites to check their exam city, examination date, and shift timing. The city intimation slip is issued to help candidates make travel arrangements before the examination.

The RRB Group D CBT is being conducted from 3 August to 21 August 2026 for 22,195 Level-1 vacancies across various railway zones.

RRB Group D Admit Card 2026

The RRB Group D Admit Card (E-Call Letter) will be made available approximately four days before the candidate's scheduled examination date.

Candidates should note that the city intimation slip is not an admit card and cannot be used for entry into the examination centre. A printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID is mandatory on the examination day.

How to Check RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2026

Candidates can access their exam city details by following these steps:

• Visit the official website of your respective regional Railway Recruitment Board.

• Click on the RRB Group D CEN 09/2025 City Intimation Slip link.

• Enter your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.

• Complete the security verification.

• Submit the details to view your allotted exam city, date, and shift.

• Download and save the city intimation slip for future reference.

City Intimation Slip Release Schedule

The Railway Recruitment Boards are releasing city intimation slips in phases. Each candidate's city details are published 10 days before their scheduled CBT date.

The CBT examinations are being conducted on the following dates:

• 3 August to 6 August 2026

• 9 August to 14 August 2026

• 17 August to 21 August 2026

• 25 August 2026

Candidates appearing on later examination dates should regularly check the regional RRB website for updates.

Travel Authority for SC/ST Candidates

Eligible Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates can also download their Travel Authority through the candidate login portal, wherever applicable. This facility enables eligible candidates to avail of travel concessions for appearing in the examination.

RRB Group D 2026 Vacancy & Eligibility

The prescribed age limit for applicants is 18 to 33 years, with age relaxation available for reserved categories as per Railway Recruitment Board guidelines.

RRB Group D Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

• Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
