SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern
1. Tier-II will include conducting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
2. Paper I is compulsory for every post.
3. Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation

STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION
Only those candidates are eligible for SSC CGL Tier- II Examination, who have qualified SSC CGL Tier-I Examination with the Qualifying Marks as per Staff Selection Commission.
The candidate’s eligibility for SSC CGL Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:-
1. Nationality

4. SSC CGL : Medical Standards
SSC CGL NATIONALITY
A candidate must be either :
1. A Citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or

4. A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Note:- A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

SSC CGL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
In order to be eligible for SSC CGL Examination, the candidates are required to possess at least a Graduation degree from a recognized university or institute. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply for SSC CGL. However, detailed information regarding Educational Qualifications for different posts is given below:-

Note :- Physical standards are only applicable for the Selected posts as mentioned below.

Note :-
For the post of Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/ Preventive Officer), persons with disabilities will have to meet the physical standards i.e. height, chest and weight s prescribed for the relevant post. However, for orthopaedically disabled candidates, the following relaxation in Physical Test is allowed:
(a) The test of “Walking” shall not be insisted in case of OL and OAL categories.
(b) The test of “Cycling” shall not be insisted in case of OA, OL and OAL categories.
Physical standards for the Post of Sub- Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation :-
1. Height
For Men - 165 cm.
For women - 150 cm.
Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals : 5 cms.
2. Chest :
76 cm with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)
3. Vision :
Eye-sight (with or without glasses)
Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
Physical standards for the Post of Sub-Inspector in National Investigation Agency:-
1. Height
For men - 170 cms.
For women - 150 cms.
Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals : 5 cms.

76 cm with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)
3. Vision :
Eye-sight (with or without glasses)
Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.

Note:- Candidates are advised to make sure before opting for any category of post that they fulfill the requirements for that category. The physical measurements (including vision test) for candidates will be conducted by the concerned Indenting Departments and only those candidates who fulfill the specified physical measurements will be eligible for the respective posts. No request from candidates for allotting to any other service/ category of post will be entertained by the Commission if the nominated candidates fail to meet the physical requirements. Thus, the onus of fulfilling the eligibility criteria will exclusively be on the candidates opting for such posts.
SSC CGL ELIGIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS
The highlights of the eligibility criteria for SSC CGL are given below:-
1. Only those candidates are eligible for SSC CGL Tier- II Examination, who have qualified SSC CGL Tier-I Examination with the Qualifying Marks as per Staff Selection Commission.
2. A candidate shall be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan.
3. A candidate should be atleast 18 years of age and should not be more than 32 years.
4. A candidate must posses at least a Graduation Degree from recognized university or equivalent to be eligible to appear for the examination.
5. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply for SSC CGL.
6. Candidates must check whether they fulfill the prescribed Medical Standards for certain posts or not.
7. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage of marks in Tier-II CBT in order to get eligible for Tier-III CBT :- UR- 30%, OBC/ EWS- 25%, Others- 20%.

SSC CGL (TIER II) EXAM
The SSC CGL Exam is Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam, conducted to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various departments of Government of India. As per the SSC CGL revised exam pattern, the exam will now consists of only two stages Tier I and Tier II.

SSC CGL TIER Il 2023: Who Can Apply
Only those candidates are eligible for SSC CGL Tier- II Examination, who have qualified SSC CGL Tier-I Examination with the Qualifying Marks as per Staff Selection Commission.
Nationality/ Citizenship
1. A Citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or
3. A subject of Bhutan or
4. A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Note:- A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4), and (5) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

SSC CGL TIER Il 2023: How Can Apply
The application process is online, Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form. The application process involves several steps, such as registering, completing the application form, uploading the required documents, paying the fee, and final submission. Candidates only need to fill out the application form with correct details, otherwise, you are responsible for rejection.
1. The candidate must go through the official website of SSC i.e. www.ssc.nic.in or from the direct link mentioned above.
2. For One-Time Registration, candidates need to click on the “Register Now" link provided in the “Login" section on http://ssc.nic.in.
3. Now login with a registered ID and password to complete Part II of the application form for SSC CGL 2023.
4. After this click on Apply Online button and start filling up the application form.
5. Candidates must fill in all the required details asked in the SSC CGL 2023 Application Form.
6. Upload the photograph and signature and other documents according to the instructions given in the SSC CGL 2023 notification pdf.
7. Go through the details filled in by you. Check the spelling.

SSC CGL TIER Il 2023: Admission to Examination Centres
1. Take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam hall.
2. They must also carry photo ID proof and two passport-sized photographs.

SSC CGL TIER Il 2023: Mode of Selection
Minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I, Section-I, Section-II & Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I of Tier-II, Paper-II & Paper-III of Tier-II Examination are as follows:
a. UR: 30%
b. OBC/ EWS: 25%
c. All other categories: 20%
The maximum percentage of errors allowed (i.e. minimum qualifying standards) in Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I of Tier-II Examination i.e. DEST are as follows:
a. UR: 20%
b. OBC/ EWS: 25%
c. All other categories: 30%
Candidates who qualify for the SSC CGL 2023 tier 1 exam will be eligible to appear for the tier 2 and 3 exam of the SSC CGL recruitment process. The SSC CGL 2023 tier 2 exam will also be conducted in online mode. According to the SSC CGL exam pattern 2023, the tier 2 exam comprises 3 different papers. The Tier II (Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III) will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I.
The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Language And Comprehension module in Section II of Paper-I. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III. 1. Tier II has three papers Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III that will be conducted in separate shifts, days.
3. Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts, it has three sections.
4. In the SSC CGL tier-II exam, all the candidates will be required to appear in all three sections of Paper-I
5. Based on the aggregate performance in Section-I and Section II of Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted for evaluation in Section III of Paper-I.
6. Candidates who are not qualified in Section-I + Section-II will not be eligible for evaluation of Section-III and they will not be considered for the further selection process.
7. Qualified candidates in Section I and Section II are required to appear for Section III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test and Data Entry Speed Test (DEST).
8. Paper II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
9.Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
Document Verification
1. All the candidates qualified for Document Verification are required to appear for Document Verification along with the photocopies and original documents.
2. Preference for various posts and departments will be taken from the candidates through Online Option Form on the website of the Commission before the declaration of the
3. final result. A candidate will not be considered for a Post and Ministry/ Department/ Organization, if he has not indicated his preference for it. Options once submitted shall be treated as final and will not be changed subsequently under any circumstances.
4. Candidates, who do not submit their post preference(s) on the website of the Commission within the stipulated time, will not be considered for any post in the Final Result.
