Paper II of SSC JE Examination will be held as a Objective Type Online Computer Based Test, The Test will be of total 300 Marks. The total duration of the Examination will be 120 Minutes. The section wise distribution of Questions and Marks is given below:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Nationality
A candidate applying for the SSC JE exam must be either –
A Citizen of India or
A subject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit

HOW CAN APPLY
Step 1: Go to the official website.
Step 2: Click on the "Apply Online for SSC JE" link.
Step 3: Click on the New User/Register Now link.
Step 4: To begin with the SSC JE Apply Online, a candidate needs to provide basic details of themselves like name, parents' name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form of SSC JE. (It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form.) All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC JE exam. Candidates are required to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC JE.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates are required to upload photograph and signature.
Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form of SSC JE.
Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application of SSC JE. The application form once submitted cannot be edited again.
Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC JE application form and pay the required application fee.
Step 10: It is advised that Candidates download and get print copies of the submitted application form of SSC JE.

2. Based on the normalized marks scored in the (Paper-I) i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in PaperII. The marks of Paper-II will also be normalized if Paper-II is conducted in multiple shifts. However, the marks of the Electrical and Mechanical Branches in Paper-II will be normalized by treating them as different shifts.
3. Final selection and allocation of Post/ Organization/ Office will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I and Paper-II and the preference of Post/ Organization/ Office exercised by them.
4. The final allotment of posts is made on the basis of merit-cum- preferences of Post(s)/ Department(s) given by the candidates and once a post is allotted, no change of posts will be made by the Commission due to non-fulfilment of any post specific requirements of physical/ medical/ educational standards or any other requirement. In other words, for example, if a candidate has given higher preference for a post and is selected for that post; in that case, if he/ she fails to meet the medical/ physical/educational standards or any other required criterion for that post, his/ her candidature will be rejected and he/ she will not be considered for any other posts.
5. The candidates applying for the Examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all stages of the Examination will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, on verification, at any time before or after the written Examination, it is found that they do not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the Examination will be cancelled.
6. Candidates who are appointed on the basis of this Examination shall be on probation for a period of two years, and during the period of probation, the candidates will be required to undergo such training or pass such examinations as prescribed by the Controlling Authority. On successful completion of the period of probation, the candidates shall, if considered fit for permanent appointment, be confirmed to their post by the Cadre Controlling Authority.
7. Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India; i.e., the posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL).

Paper II of SSC JE Examination will be held as a Objective Type Online Computer Based Test, The Test will be of total 300 Marks. The total duration of the Examination will be 120 Minutes. The section wise distribution of Questions and Marks is given below:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate applying for the SSC JE exam must be either –
A Citizen of India or
A subject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC JE exam. Candidates are required to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC JE.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates are required to upload photograph and signature.
Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form of SSC JE.
Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application of SSC JE. The application form once submitted cannot be edited again.
Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC JE application form and pay the required application fee.
