The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to close the objection submission window for the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Answer Key 2025 today, December 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Candidates who appeared for the Paper I examination can submit their challenges only through the SSC official website.
The Junior Engineer examination was conducted for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical streams. Candidates are allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer keys issued by the Commission within the specified time frame.
Provisional answer key and response sheet details
SSC made the tentative answer keys, along with the question papers and candidates’ individual response sheets, available on December 19, 2025. These documents enable candidates to review their recorded responses and verify the answers marked during the examination.
Objection window and fee structure
Candidates can submit objections online from 6:00 PM on December 19, 2025, until 6:00 PM on December 22, 2025. A non-refundable fee of Rs 50 per question or answer is applicable for each challenge submitted. Objections sent after the deadline or through offline modes will not be accepted.

Steps to raise objections
To submit a challenge, candidates must log in using their registration credentials, access the displayed answer key, select the relevant question, make the required payment, and download the acknowledgement page for reference.
SSC has clarified that the sequence of questions and options displayed in the challenge interface may vary from the original examination paper, as a standardised order is used for all candidates appearing in the same shift.

The saved question papers provided on the portal are meant strictly for personal review and self-assessment. Candidates are required to accept an undertaking displayed during login before accessing the challenge management system.
Paper I of the SSC JE Examination 2025 was held between December 3 and December 6, and again on December 13, 2025, at various examination centres across India.
The Commission has emphasised that the provisional answer keys and response sheets will be accessible only during the objection window. Candidates are advised to download and retain the confirmation receipt, as no further requests will be entertained once the window closes.
