How to apply

1. Read the advertisement carefully, Before you apply.

2. The candidates should apply online through the official link on or before 05 July 2024.

3. Keep your Documents whole, and at the time of submission check each document carefully.

4. Wherever an Application Fee is required for Submission of an Application, It Must be submitted on time, or else the Application will be rejected.

5. After successful submission of an application, it is required to have a copy of your application form, for further process.

General Instructions:

1. Duly filled application form must be filled on prescribed format with non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- (five hundred only) and the SC/ST/OBC/EWS have to pay Rs. 250/-(two hundred fifty only) in the form of Demand / Bank Draft in favour of “Finance Controller, Uttarakhand Technical University” payable at Dehradun.

2. After online submission of Application Form, the candidate has to download the submitted application form and take print out of the same. The print out of the application form along with relevant supporting documents (self-attested), and the Demand / Bank Draft of applicable fee should be sent through Registered / Speed Post or by hand to the Registrar, Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Chandanwadi, Prem Nagar, Dehradun – 248007 (Uttarakhand) latest by 5 PM on 04th July 2024.

3. Unsigned/Incomplete application or without application fee or supporting documents, and application received late shall be summarily rejected.

4. The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the positions.

5. Merely fulfilling the minimum qualification does not mean that the candidate will be called for participation in the selection process.

6. The monthly emoluments stand for the entire duration for which the candidate is selected.

7. The candidate has to submit an undertaking while applying that he/she is not holding with any other assignment elsewhere.

8. The candidate has to appear for Test/Interview in physical mode only. In case, if the candidate is selected, he/she have to submit joining of duties physically to the Registrar VMSBUTU or as directed in the offer letter.

9. The University follows the reservation norms as per Uttarakhand State Govt. rules. 5, Those claiming benefit of SC/ST/OBC/EWS reservation are required to produce a copy of the valid SC/ST/OBC category Certificate in the format prescribed by the Uttarakhand Government as and when required. The candidate, who claims to be from Economically Weaker Section (EWS), will have to fulfill the criteria laid down by Uttarakhand Govt.

10. Eligible and desirous candidates have to send application (on prescribed format) along with all relevant documents through online portal of University by the prescribed last date.

11. Candidate have to make sure that they are fully eligible for any particular post they are applying for and the original certificate/documents in support of information furnished in the application form are to be provided at a later stage of recruitment process at the time of interview and joining. No deviation, whatsoever, from the filled-in details will be entertained in any circumstances. In case of failure to produce valid supporting document(s) as claimed in application form, the candidature / engagement will be cancelled automatically at any stage and No claims shall be entertained in this regard.

12. Candidate is advised to write the desired information carefully in the application form. University will not be responsible for the loss due to wrong/deficient information filled in the application form.

13. In case of exigency the University reserves the right to post any candidate in either of the campus institution/Faculty in university irrespective of the choice filled in the application form.

14. The University reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the number of candidates to be called for selection process (Interview) based on higher parameters over and above the essential qualification for which the test may be conducted in case of requirement.

15. Call letter to short listed candidates and any further information will be send through e-mail only. No other mode of communication will be adopted. So before sending the application form, candidates are required to provide working e-mail which should be correctly mentioned as it will only be used during the entire selection process.

16. Applicants, in their interest are advised to remain in touch with the website of VMSBUTU, Dehradun, www.uktech.ac.in, for any information related to the engagement since the beginning till the selection process is completed. The Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University will not be responsible in any case if any candidate skips any information due to not visiting the website.

17. Any modification /correction/addition etc. related to the advertisement and or related to the engagement process will be uploaded on the University website only. No other means of communication will be used for the same.

18. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in written test / interview and joining the duties.

19. University will not be responsible for any technical delay..

20. Interim correspondence/enquires shall not be entertained or replied to.

21. Any attempt to influence the recruitment process whatsoever will lead to disqualification of candidate(s).

22. In case of any dispute the decision of the Vice-Chancellor, VMSBUTUshall be final.

23. The applicant(s) must carry the original photo I.D. proof (which has been indicated by him/her in the application), at the time of Test / Interview for verification.

24. The applicant(s) shall have to produce original certificates &testimonials at the time of interview falling which the applicant(s) will not be allowed to appear in the interview.

25. The “Assistant Professor (Short term Engagement)” will be a full time employee for the entire period of engagement and he/she is required to adhere to the administrative and disciplinary regulations of the VMSBUTU/Government. Failure to comply with the same will be a ground for termination of the “Assistant Professor (Short term Engagement)” without notice any time during the period of engagement.

26. The working hours/days for the Assistant Professor (Short term Engagement) will be same as for other employees of the University/Institution as applicable. No extra benefit will be allowed for working beyond the office hours. Unauthorized absence from the work/work place for a continuous period of 06 days without valid reasons shall lead to automatic termination of the engagement. Regular attendance of the Assistant Professor (Short term Engagement) will be ensured by the Director/Officiating Director of the Institute.

27. The Selected candidate(s) will not be allowed to accept or hold any other full time /part time assignment in online/offline mode during the period of his/her position of Assistant Professor (Short term Engagement) in the Campus Institutions ofVMSBUTU.

28. If the Selected candidate(s) leaves the engagement without permission, he/she shall not be provided “Certificate of Experience”, and not be paid any emoluments/amount due to him/her on that day. The working candidates have to submit “No dues Certificate” to the Director of the Campus Institute /Registrar of VMSBUTU. The decision of Competent Authority in this regard shall be final.

29. In the event of his/her leaving the engagement under unforeseen situations, the Assistant Professor (Short term Engagement) will be required to submit at least on month’s prior notice for acceptance of his/her resignation. Otherwise, the Competent Authority has right to forfeit his/her emoluments. However, his/her service will be terminated at any stage/time, if he/she is found guilty in any type of misconduct or his/her performance is not found up to the mark or the services are not required in the university for whatever reason by paying one month salary. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to termination at any time/stage.

30. In case no selectionis made on any advertised position of the particular campus institute/Faculty, the university may deployany selected candidate among wait listed candidates from either of the campus institute in the same category on basis of merit irrespective of choices.

31. The Selected candidate(s) shall have no legal right to claim regularization or absorption against any post or extension of tenure or any further engagement agreement at the Campus Institutions of the VMSBUTU. On or after termination of the 11 month tenure of Short term Engagement, he/she will not have any right to seek permanent absorption in the University or its Campus Institutions.

32. All applicants who are presently employed in Government/Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/ University/Recognized Educational Institute etc. should apply through proper channel enclosing a certificate from the organization stating no Vigilance or Disciplinary action/enquiry is pending or contemplated against them and also submit a no objection certificate from present employer. Failure to provide the same shall make them ineligible for consideration to the post. Application received late shall not be entertained and delay in transit shall be the responsibility of applicant.

33. The educational qualification, age, experience and other conditions of eligibility as stipulated above against the post shall be determined as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

34. Application forms must also be accompanied by self-attested copies of all Educational and Professional Qualification, Experience Certificate, Category Certificate/ EWS certificate, as applicable. An application without the said supporting documents will be rejected during the course of screening.

35. All short term engagements shall be purely temporary in self-finance mode.

36. Employment of the University shall be governed by the rules and regulations, service conditions specified in the Act/Regulations/Orders of the Campus Institute / University as may be notified from time to time.

37. No documents may be accepted or considered by the University after submission of application form by the candidate and no subsequent request for its change will be considered.

38 Candidature of applicant shall be subjected to verification of certificates &testimonials with original documents at a subsequent stage.

39. Candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
