UP BOARD EXAM CLASS 10TH LATEST UPDATE
Finally, wait is over and Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced class 10 Board exams date. This year class 10th board exam will be started from 24 February 2025 and will last upto 12 March 2025, it will take around 17 days to complete the class 10th board exam. The board will conduct the class 10 exam in two shifts. The first-shift exams are conducted from 8 am to 11:15 am while the second shift exam will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The first exam will be held on 24 February 2025 for Hindi & Health Care subject and the last exam will be held on 12 March 2025 for State Language & Electrician, Plumber etc. subject.
As in the previous year, practical examinations of high school will be conducted on the basis of internal assessment (project work) at school level. Individual high school candidates will contact the principal of their forwarding centre and ensure their participation in the practical examination. The marks of practical examination (internal assessment), moral, yoga, sports and physical education of high school will be uploaded online on the council's website upmsp.edu.in through the principal of the school. (Motivate) If a line divides two sides of a triangle in the same ratio, the line is parallel to the third side.
(Motivate) If in two triangles, the corresponding angles are equal, their corresponding sides are proportional and the triangles are similar.
(Motivate) If the corresponding sides of two triangles are proportional, their corresponding angles are equal and the two triangles are similar.
(Motivate) If one angle of a triangle is equal to one angle of another triangle and the sides including these angles are proportional, the two triangles are similar.
(Motivate) If a perpendicular is drawn from the vertex of the right angle of a right triangle to the hypotenuse, the triangles on each side of the perpendicular are similar to the whole triangle and to each other.
(Prove) The ratio of the areas of two similar triangles is equal to the ratio of the squares of their corresponding sides.

Division of a line segment in a given ratio (internally).

UNIT V: TRIGONOMETRY
1. INTRODUCTION TO TRIGONOMETRY
Trigonometric ratios of an acute angle of a right-angled triangle. Proof of their existence (well defined); motivate the ratios whichever are defined at 0oand 90º. Values of the trigonometric ratios of 30º, 45º and 60º. Relationships between the ratios.
2. TRIGONOMETRIC IDENTITIES
Proof and applications of the identity sin2A + cos2A = 1. Only simple identities to be given. Trigonometric ratios of complementary angles.
3. HEIGHTS AND DISTANCES: Angle of elevation, Angle of Depression.
Simple problems on heights and distances. Problems should not involve more than two right triangles. Angles of elevation / depression should be only 30°, 45°, 60°.
UNIT VI: MENSURATION
1. AREAS RELATED TO CIRCLES
Motivate the area of a circle; area of sectors and segments of a circle. Problems based on areas and perimeter / circumference of the above said plane figures. (In calculating area of segment of a circle, problems should be restricted to central angle of 60°, 90°and 120° only. Plane figures involving triangles, simple quadrilaterals and circle should be taken.)
2. SURFACE AREAS AND VOLUMES
Surface areas and volumes of combinations of any two of the following: cubes, cuboids, spheres, hemispheres and right circular cylinders/cones. Frustum of a cone. Problems involving converting one type of metallic solid into another and other mixed problems. (Problems with combination of not more than two different solids be taken).
UNIT VII: STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY
1. STATISTICS
Mean, median and mode of grouped data (bimodal situation to be avoided). Cumulative frequency graph.
2. PROBABILITY
Classical definition of probability. Simple problems on finding the probability of an event

Conditions of eligibility for admission to class X.
1. Candidates who have been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Candidates had completed a regular course of study for class IX and passed class IX examination from a school affilicated to this Board.
3. The candidates percentage for attendance should be 75% so that the Board to make him/her eligible for the Examinations.
4. Candidate can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parents(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the marksheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.
5. There is no age limit for candidates taking the Examination.
6. Candidate should have doucments in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) on Tuesday, April 12, successfully conducted the Class 10 Maths subject examination 2022 in the first shift. The time given to the students for the examination was from 08 am to 11:15 am. Maths paper was made according to the syllabus, and it was Moderate, but there was less time to write. Students who appeared for the examination told that more time should have been given. The theoretical exam had a total of 70 marks, while the practical exam carries the remaining 30 marks.

This year class 10th board exam will be started from 24 February 2025 and will last upto 12 March 2025, it will take around 17 days to complete the class 10th board exam.
