The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has issued a revised schedule for select papers of the UP Board High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations 2026. The changes involve timing adjustments for the Hindi and Elementary Hindi papers on February 18 and a rescheduled date for the Sanskrit paper for Class 12.
According to the updated timetable released by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, only three papers have been affected, while the rest of the exams will proceed according to the original schedule.
Key Changes In UP Board Revised Timetable 2026
Class 10 (High School):
The Hindi and Elementary Hindi papers will now be conducted in the morning shift from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM on February 18, 2026. Earlier, the Hindi paper was scheduled in the morning and Elementary Hindi in the afternoon on the same day.
Class 12 (Intermediate):
Both General Hindi and Hindi papers will now take place in the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM on February 18, 2026. Previously, General Hindi was set for the morning and Hindi for the afternoon.
Sanskrit Paper (Class 12):
The Sanskrit exam, earlier planned for February 20 (morning shift), will now be held on March 12, 2026, in the afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 5:15 PM).

Apart from these adjustments, the rest of the High School and Intermediate examinations will follow the previously announced timetable.
The UP Board 2026 exams are scheduled to begin on February 18 and conclude on March 12, with exams conducted in two shifts — 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
A total of over 52 lakh students are expected to appear for the 2026 UP Board examinations, including 27,50,945 Class 10 candidates and 24,79,352 Class 12 candidates.
