The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the schedule for the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) Improvement and Compartment Examinations 2025. Students who have applied can view the timetable on the official website.
Exam Dates And Timings
Class 12 (Intermediate) Compartment Exams:
Scheduled for July 17, 2025, the exams will be conducted in the afternoon session, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.Class 10 (High School) Improvement/Compartment Exams:
Will take place on July 19, 2025, in the morning shift, from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM.
Practical Exam Dates
The practical examinations for both Improvement and Compartment categories will be held on July 11 and 12, 2025.
Exam Centres And Security Guidelines
All examinations will be held at designated centres as assigned by the District School Inspector at each district headquarters. The board has issued strict instructions to ensure smooth and secure conduct of exams:
Only candidates, exam officials, teachers, and authorised staff will be allowed entry; all outsiders are strictly barred.
Proper crowd management is mandatory at entry and exit points to avoid congestion.
Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, smartwatches, and other devices are prohibited inside exam halls.
CCTV cameras with audio recording and routers must be operational in all exam rooms during the exams.
Eligibility For Improvement and Compartment Exams
Class 10 Students - May appear in one failed subject for Improvement, or one of the two failed subjects for the Compartment exam.
Class 12 Students (Science, Arts, Commerce) - Allowed to take the Compartment exam in one subject only. Agriculture stream: One paper from either Part 1 or Part 2, Vocational/Trade courses: One paper of the trade subject
