General Instructions :

1. The process of selection will consist of a seminar and academic interaction followed by a Selection Committee Meeting (for shortlisted candidates only).

2. The experience can be relaxed by the Selection Committee for exceptional candidates with brilliant academic record and outstanding research profile. Age relaxation where considered Government of India Rules applies.

3. Mere fulfilling of the minimum requirements does not necessarily make an applicant eligible to be called for interview.

4. The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be the closing date of receipt of application.

5. Reservations rules will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

6. The Centre reserves the right to withdraw the advertisement and cancel the selection process at any time without assigning any reason whatsoever.

7.  Applications not found suitable for higher positions may be considered for lower positions in the same area of specialization, as per decision of the Competent Authority.

8. Applicants who are employed in Government, Semi-Government Organizations or Institutions must send their applications THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL (wherever applicable). They will be required to produce a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from their employer at the time of interview.
