General Instructions:

1. How to Apply: After ensuring all the eligibility conditions, Application form can be downloaded from the website www.drdo.gov.in.

2. The signed application form along with certificate in support of educational qualification, matriculation certificate/birth certificate in support of date of birth, GATE/NET score card (if applicable), valid as on closing date of application, caste certificate (if applicable) should be scanned in a single PDF file [File name should be: SUBJECT CODE_YOUR NAME_DATE OF EMAIL] and emailed to sonia.inmas@gov.in before the closing date. INCOMPLETE/PARTIALLY FILLED APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED.

3. Last date of receipt of application form is 5 PM, 30th June 2025.

4. Shortlisted candidates will be communicated through email to appear for the interview. 5. Application form should be brought duly filled along with complete bio-data on the date of interview.

6. Reporting time is 0800h-0930hrs on the date of Interview, at Main Gate Reception, INMAS, Timarpur, Delhi. Late comers will not be allowed at any cost.

7. Written Test may be conducted for JRFs from 0930-1030 hrs. (depending on the number of candidates appearing on the date of interview) and only those candidates who qualify in the written test shall be interviewed on the same day.

8. Screening of the applications will be carried out by a duly constituted Screening Committee & the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed through interview as mentioned for which date will be intimated to shortlisted candidates.

9. Selection procedure: A. Eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for interview based on qualifying criteria. B. GATE paper & subjects of qualifying degree must match Essential Qualification mentioned. C. Working experience in the subject area will be preferred.

10. The selected candidate(s) may be allowed to register for PhD with any recognized University/Institution during the tenure of fellowship.

11. Candidates will be essentially required to produce original certificates/ testimonials w.r.t. age, qualifications & experience, for verification at the time of interview & submit self-attested photocopies of the same, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

12. Candidates presently employed in Government Departments/ PSU's/ Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce NOC at the time of interview.

13. Please note: Electronic items like smart/ mobile phones/pen drive/ laptop/ CDROM etc. are strictly not allowed inside INMAS Campus. Candidate should be in possession of a valid Government issued ID card (Aadhaar, passport, driving license etc) during entrance at INMAS.

14. Antecedents of candidate will be verified again at the time of joining, if selected.

15. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview or for joining, if selected.

16. Number of vacancies may change as per organizational requirement without any prior notice.

17. This is a temporary research position offered by INMAS DRDO.

18. It may be noted that mere offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right of absorption in DRDO.

19. No candidate shall claim admission as a matter of right. The admission shall be entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee of the Institute, which may refuse to admit any candidate without assigning any reason thereof.

20. Director INMAS reserves the right to scrap the whole selection process anytime, without any prior information and reason assigned therefor.
