These posts carry Pay and Allowances, such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to the Central Government employees and as made applicable to CSIR employees. In addition, other benefits such as Leave Travel Concession (LTC), reimbursement of medical expenses and Children Education Allowance etc. are also available as applicable to Council employees. The Council employees are also eligible for accommodation of their entitled type as per CSIR allotment rules depending upon the availability in which case HRA will not be admissible as per CSIR Residence Allotment Rules. 2. CSIR provides excellent opportunities to deserving candidates for career advancement under Assessment Scheme for Technical staff as per rules as amended from time to time. Contd. 3.
