General Instructions: 1. These posts carry Pay and Allowances, such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to the Central Government employees and as made applicable to CSIR employees. In addition, other benefits such as Leave Travel Concession (LTC), reimbursement of medical expenses and Children Education Allowance etc. are also available as applicable to Council employees. The Council employees are also eligible for accommodation of their entitled type as per CSIR allotment rules depending upon the availability in which case HRA will not be admissible as per CSIR Residence Allotment Rules. 2. CSIR provides excellent opportunities to deserving candidates for career advancement under Assessment Scheme for Technical staff as per rules as amended from time to time. Contd. 3. All New entrants will be governed by the “New Pension Scheme” based on defined Contributions as admissible to new entrants recruited in Central Government Services on or after 01.01.2004, as adopted by CSIR for its employees and other instructions issued on the subject by GoI/CSIR from time to time. 4. In regard to all the matters concerning service conditions of employees of the Council, Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules - 1964 and Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules - 1965, the Fundamental and Supplementary Rules framed by the Govt. of India and such other rules and orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time shall apply to the extent applicable to the employees of the Council. 5. All the posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL), i.e. the candidate on selection may be asked to serve anywhere in the country. |
