How to apply

1. Read the advertisement carefully, Before you apply.

2. The candidates should apply online through the official link on or before 31 March 2024.

3. Keep your Documents whole, and at the time of submission check each document carefully.

4. Wherever an Application Fee is required for Submission of an Application, It Must be submitted on time, or else the Application will be rejected.

5. After successful submission of an application, it is required to have a copy of your application form, for further process.

General Instructions:

1. No Objection Certificate: Candidates who are employed under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies etc. have to submit `No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, at the time of Skill Test or as and when called for. However, the candidate should apply for the post only under intimation to and with the prior permission of the employer. A candidate who may gain/change employment after applying for the post, is required to inform the employer the particulars of his/her application and shall mandatorily submit NOC at the time of Skill Test. Any candidate, who fails to submit NOC in original at the time of Skill Test, shall not be permitted to appear in the Skill Test and TA will not be paid.

2. Rounding – off of marks is NOT allowed. In case the marks obtained are in the form other than percentage or 10 point CGPA, please convert them into percentage and the formula of conversion should be certified by the Head of the Institution /University/Board or should be mentioned in the mark-sheet.

3. It is for candidates to ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and the instructions contained in this advertisement and in the online application form are adhered to/complied with. Candidates are, therefore, urged to carefully read the advertisement and complete the online application form and submit the same as per instructions given in this regard.

4. Applications that are not in conformity with the requirements indicated in this advertisement and incomplete applications will not be entertained.

5. Caste/Category declared by the candidate in the application such as OBC/SC/ST/EWS will be considered as final and no change in the same will be entertained.

6. Selected candidate will be posted to work at any office of Physical Research Laboratory or its observatories at Udaipur / Mt. Abu and is liable to be transferred to work anywhere in India, in the interest of PRL.

7. Candidates called for skill test will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line. If any information furnished on-line is found to be wrong, false or not substantiated with appropriate documentary evidence, the candidate will not be eligible for skill test and No TA will be paid.

8. The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may visit PRL website and follow the application procedure as stated.

9. Only Indian nationals need apply.

10. The number of vacancies indicated is provisional.

11. PRL reserves the right not to fill up some or all the posts, if it so decides.

12. No interim correspondence will be entertained with the candidates who are not screened in for test/appointment.

13. Candidates may appear for the written test in Hindi in case they prefer so.

14. PRL strives to create a workforce that reflects gender balance and has female candidates encouraged to apply.

15. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

16. Candidates are requested to be careful while filling online applications and are expected to give only valid / genuine inputs which can be authenticated through valid & appropriate / prescribed documentary evidence. Giving false inputs / advertent wrong entries while filling up online application format, will lead cancellation of candidature of the candidate during recruitment process / after selection.

17. In case of any ambiguity/dispute arises on account of interpretation of Hindi version of this notification, instructions detailed in the English version shall be final.
