General Instructions: 1. Submission of more than one application for the post by the same candidate is strictly prohibited and such applications are liable to be rejected. 2. The qualifications prescribed in the advertisement are as per the notified recruitment rules issued by the Government. 3. All degrees/diplomas/certificates mentioned in the advertisement must have been obtained from Universities/Institutions duly recognized by the competent authority. 4. The prescribed qualifications are minimum and mere possession of these does not entitle the applicant to be called for interview. If the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it is not conveniently possible for the Commission to interview all the applicants, the Commission may limit the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on any ground . Higher qualification/higher marks/grades obtained in the required qualification or experience in the relevant field more than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of screening test. 5. In cases where no division/class is given and only grading is done, the exact percentage of marks and conversion formula adopted should be mentioned along with documentary evidence, if necessary. 6. Where a number of years of experience has been prescribed as an item of qualification, it shall mean only experience/research experience obtained in full time employment/research in the relevant field within the last date of receipt of applications. Candidates from other states can apply for unreserved vacancies as general candidates. Such benefits are also available to persons with benchmark disability up to the age of 45 years. 9. S.C., S.T., O.B.C. A candidate claiming to be. (Non-Creamy Layer) or Persons with Disability (40% and above) must have a certificate in support of their claim from the competent authority of West Bengal. 10. The Public Service Commission may call for such additional proof of particulars from the candidates as it considers necessary and may inquire as to their character and other particulars in respect of suitability and eligibility. If a candidate is unable to produce relevant valid certificates in support of the declaration/claim made by the candidate at the time of document verification, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected. 11. O.B.C. (Non Creamy Layer) candidates should submit their renewed/revalidated O.B.C. need to deposite. (Non Creamy Layer) Certificate before the interview and at the time of appointment. 13. Candidates must fulfill the required qualifications by the last date. 14. All requisite certificates relating to educational qualification, age certificate, other relevant experience certificates and other requisite documents should be submitted as and when required by the Commission. 15. If a candidate is found ineligible in the context of the advertisement at any stage even after the recommendation letter for appointment has been issued, his/her candidature will be canceled without any reference. 16. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature. 17. In case of Screening Test, candidates will have to follow the instructions given by the invigilators/invigilators of the examination. If the candidate fails to do so or indulges in disorderly or inappropriate conduct, he/she will be liable for expulsion from the examination hall and/or such other punishment as the Commission may deem fit to impose. 18.
