How to apply

1. Read the advertisement carefully, Before you apply.

2. The candidates should apply online through the official link on or before 27 January 2024.

3. Keep your Documents whole, and at the time of submission check each document carefully.

4. Wherever an Application Fee is required for Submission of an Application, It Must be submitted on time, or else the Application will be rejected.

5. After successful submission of an application, it is required to have a copy of your application form, for further process.

6. For any other information, visit the official site.

General Instructions:

1. If any person with benchmark disability requires scribe/ reader, having disability of 40% or more, he / she has to request for the same in writing to the Commission along with copy of disability certificate issued by the competent authority at least seven days prior to the screening test (Computer Based Test/ Offline Test) for theconcerned post. Such applications will beentertained onmeritand as per rules.

2. The SC / ST / OBC / WFF / Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen candidates of other states than H.P. should write /encode their category codeas 01 on the OMR, becausetheywill betreated as unreserved candidatesand upperagerelaxation is notapplicableto them.

3. The candidates belonging to disabled categories are advised to claimtheir respective category only if the percentage of disability is 40% or more than this.

4. Theapplicantshall upload his/her latest photograph in thespace provided in theapplication form. In case, photograph uploaded on theapplication of Preliminary examination is found different / varying to that of pasted on the Identity Card forappearing in the Main examination, thecandidature ofsuch candidates shallstand cancelled.

5. Generally Wards of Ex-serviceman erroneously apply against the post of Ex. Servicemen and choosing the code of Ex-Servicemen of H.P. in the relevant Column of the Online RecruitmentApplication (ORA) resulting rejection of their candidature. Therefore, they shallwrite and choose the code ofcategory(s) to which actually they belong and notselect thecode of Ex. Servicemen.

6. The Ex-servicemen candidates of H.P. must go through therelevant Rulesand instructions ofthereservation notified / issued by the H.P. Govt. from timeto timein order to ensuretheireligibility foradmission to theaforesaid examination.

7. Reserved categories candidates are also required to go through the relevant instructions in order to ensure that they are eligible under the particular category(s).

8. Candidatesareinformed thatas per Government ofH.P. (in the Department of Personnel) notificationNo.Per(AP-B) B (15)-3/2022 dated 22-03- 2023, the examinations conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commissionwillcome under the purview of Himachal Pradesh Prevention of Malpractice Act, 1984.

9. Acandidate at any stage ofexamination /selection which shall include finalselection and sending recommendation(s) thereof or during the course of examination or any selection process conducted or being conducted may in addition to rendering himself / herself liable to criminal prosecution under relevant laws (in the case ofcandidate already in service under Government, to disciplinary action and criminal prosecution under the appropriate rules and relevant laws) may be debarred from appearing in any written examination / Personality Test for a period not exceeding 15 years, or his candidature may be cancelled at the discretion of the Commission w.e.f. the date as may be decided by the Commission, if he or she is found to be guilty of the obtaining / seeking support for his / hercandidature whether in the Examination or Evaluation or Physical Test or Interview/ Personality Test by any means or  impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or submitting false/ fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with or making statements which are incorrect or false or flouts any Instructions Guidelines, terms and condition, given in advertisements or instructions communicated in anymanner or suppressing.

10. There in material information atany stage ofselection or esorting to the following means in connectionwith his / her candidaturefor theexamination, namely, obtaining copy of question paper through improper means, finding out the particulars of the persons connected with secret work relating to the Examination; Evaluation, Physical Test and Interview /PersonalityTest, Influencing the Examiners or using orattempting to use unfair means in the Examination hall or writing obscene matter or drawing obscenesketches in thescripts; or harassing, threatening or causing physical injury to the staffengaged in the conduct of Examination; Evaluation, Physical Test or Interview / Personality Test or violating any of the instructions

11. Given to the candidates in their admission card or other directives including oral instructions given by the centre supervisor /superintendent or other staffengaged in theconduct ofExamination; Evaluation, PhysicalTest or Interview/ PersonalityTest or misbehaving in theexamination hall including tearing ofthescripts, provoking fellowexaminees to boycott Examination, Evaluation, Physical Test or Interview/ PersonalityTest,creating a disorderly sceneand thelike or being in possession of or usingmobile phone, pager, scanner or any electronic equipment or device or any other equipmentcapable of being used asacommunication device during theexamination / personality test;evaluation or physicalTest; or being debarred earlier on the above mentioned grounds by the Union Public Service Commission or any State Public Service Commission or any other government department / recruiting agency including this Commission.

12. Attempting to commit or, as thecase may be, abetting the Commission ofall orany oftheacts specified in theforegoing clauses; Provided that no penalty under this Ruleshall beimposed exceptafter giving thecandidatean opportunity ofmaking such representation inwriting as he/she maywish to makein that behalf;and taking into consideration therepresentation, ifany, submitted by thecandidate within the period allowed to him/ her. Provided further that the order of debarring or cancellation ofcandidature shall be passed only after the Commission has considered the matter and approved the proposed punishment of debarring thecandidate orcancellation of his / hercandidature.

13. Ifany candidateappears in the Screening Test on thecentre other than theallotted centre, his / hercandidature will berejected straightway and no correspondence will beentertained in the matter.

14. The number of vacancies to befilled in on the basis ofthis ScreeningTestmay increase or decrease.

15. Contract/Casual/adhoc/ daily rated/ work charged employees do not need to produce NOC fromthe concerned employer. The Candidates who are in Government service (regular service) may apply to the Commission alongwith requisite examination fees with information to their Head of Departments / Employer for issuing NOC. Any candidates, who are in regular Government Service or Government owned Industrialservice, will not beallowed to participatein the process of document verification unless he/she produces NOC fromtheconcerned employer.

16. It may be ensured by the candidates before submitting the applications that furnishing of false information and documents or suppression ofany factual information in the application formwould entail disqualification. If the fact that false information / document(s) has been furnished or that there has been suppression ofany factual information in the application; comes to the notice at any time during the service ofa person, his service would be liableto beterminated.
