General Instructions:

1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

2. All qualifications should be from recognized Institutions.

3. As per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 apprenticeship or terminated their apprenticeship midway or pursuing in other organizations or in NHPC Ltd. with the same qua not be eligible for engagement as apprentice.

4. Candidates claiming to belong to any category shall necessarily have a valid SC/ ST/ OBC certificate from the Competent Authority.

5. Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge the number of seats/ cancel the adver stage, if need so arises, without any notice.

6. Candidates should be eligible with respect to age criteria and educational qualification as on closing date of advertisement.

7. Result awaited candidates need not apply.

8. NHPC Ltd shall have no obligation to give regular employment to Apprentices. The employment from NHPC Ltd. on the basis of Apprenticeship Training. Trainees for employment.

9. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats is solely based on suitability of candidates and no claim will be entertained in case of non-selection of any candidate.

10. NHPC Ltd. does not take any responsibility to reply to the candidate/ organization for non-selection /non-issuance of call letter.

11. Candidates applying for more than one Trade/Discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.

12. Apprentice Trainees shall be bound to undergo training at Regional Office Chandigarh, NHPC Limited, Sector-31A, Chandigarh.

13. The selected candidates will have to follow all the rules and regulations of NHPC Ltd. If anyone at any stage violates the rules and regulations of NHPC Ltd., his/her training will be terminated as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

14. While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other norms mentioned above, as on the specified dates and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of training that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and /or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand automatically cancelled.
