General instructions:

1. Aspiring applicants if satisfying eligibility criteria in all respect, can submit their ONLINE application only. On-line application(s) link will be available on KGMU, Lucknow websites www.kgmu.org.in

2. Applicants must fulfill all essential eligibility criteria, educational qualification, age limit, etc. as per appended in relevant Guidelines.

3. On-line Registration and submission process schedule will be published on Medical University website; Examination will be conducted according to the published schedule. Candidates are advised to visit Medical University website for the details and the schedule of the Examination.

4. Candidates are advised to apply for General and Backlog Vacancies and pay the prescribed fee separately as mentioned in above table.

5. As per Acts and GO’s on Reservation, Government of Uttar Pradesh may change the number of reserved vacancies in accordance with the prescribed/policy directions in the Ordinances/Orders.

6. Reservation policy of the Uttar Pradesh State Government shall be applicable.

7. The Reservation under category of physically handicapped, dependent of freedom fighters, females and ex-serviceman will be considered as per relevant rules of the Uttar Pradesh Govt.

8. Before applying, candidates must read the mandatory qualifications (academic) for vacant posts and ensure that they hold there required mandatory qualification (educational & Professional) and others for the post and only those who are covered under the prescribed age limit can apply online.

9. It is mandatory for the candidate and also advised to tick(✓) the requested post while registering; otherwise his/her application will not be accepted.

10. The number of vacancies mentioned in the tables may increase or decrease.

11. Age relaxation for SC/ST& OBC candidates up to a maximum period of 05 years, is applicable as per appended guidelines and relevant GOs of Govt. of UP.

12. In case of Divyang /Disabled/ Handicapped candidates, the age relaxation is up to maximum period of 15 years (Ref. GO.NO. 18/1/2008-Ka/2/2008 Karmik - anubhag 2 dated 03.02.2008 of Government of UP.

13. In case of Divyang candidates requiring scribe/writer for taking the examination, the government rules will apply, as per G.O. F. No. 29-6/2019-DD-III/ dated 10.08.2022 & F. No. 34-02/2015- DD-III/dated 29.08.2018, issued by Govt. of Indian, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Dept of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). The candidates should arrange his/her own scribe/writer. KGMU or Examination body will not be able to provide a scribe/writer for this exam.

14. In case of Permanent Government Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service in the relevant field relaxable up to maximum period of 5 years as per appended guidelines and relevant GOs of Government of UP.

15. Relaxation to upper age limit in favor of Ex-serviceman will be as per U.P. Government rules which followed rules of Government of India.

16. No document including printed/ hard copy of online application forms are required to be sent by post. However, applicants are advised to keep one printed/ hard copy of their application forms.

17. The computer Based Test (CBT) will be held at major cities as mentioned in the online application form. Candidates may opt for three test cities preferred from the list and the same cannot be changed after the online form is submitted. KGMU reserves the right to allocate any test city or change the test city opted by the candidate.

18. KGMU has right to reserve cancel of the Examination City/Centre and/or add some other cities/centers depending upon the response, administrative feasibility or any force-majeure conditions etc.

19. Applicants if in regular employment must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from his/her employers.

20. Candidates with valid application shall be issued call letter & admit card. These can be downloaded by candidates directly from Medical University website www.kgmu.org.in by entering their registration number / application number/ Date of birth & Verification Captcha. 22. Call letter/Admit card will not be sent by post. This facility would be available on website accordingly as per published scheduled of examination.

21. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in Written Test.

22. All Disputes/differences or litigations shall be subject to territorial jurisdiction of Lucknow Court only.

23. Vice Chancellor KGMU, Lucknow reserves to right fill any or all of advertised posts or not to fill same without assigning any reasons.
