How to apply

1. Read the advertisement carefully, Before you apply.

2. The candidates should apply online through the official link on or before 15 May 2023.

3. Keep your Documents whole, and at the time of submission check each document carefully.

4. Wherever an Application Fee is required for Submission of an Application, It Must be submitted on time, or else the Application will be rejected.

5. After successful submission of an application, it is required to have a copy of your application form, for further process.

General Instructions:

1. All posts except Sl. No. 16 are permanent.

2. Post from Sl. No. 1 to 3 carry probation of one year. Rest posts (except Sl. No. 16) carry probation of two years. Post at Sl No 16 will be filled purely on a contract basis.

3. The candidates are required to apply through online with complete information and attachments. Candidates applying for more than one post are required to pay application fees for each applied posts. However, the candidates will solely be responsible, if the test of two or more trades/posts coincides with each other. Institute will not be responsible to conduct a separate test at any stage for the applicants who have applied for more than one trade/posts.

4. Applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must fulfil eligibility criteria as on the closing date of application.

5. The detailed process (SOP)/instructions for filling out the online application form will be available on the institute website https://staffrect.iitp.ac.in.

6. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of submitted information, other documents and photographs.

7. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen and Divyang candidates against reserved posts shall be admissible as per Government of India norms.

8. Candidates seeking reservation benefits, available for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwD(Divyang) categories, must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in Government of India orders. They should also be in possession of the certificates in the format prescribed by Government of India in support of their claim at the time of applying for any post on online portal.

9. Valid SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwD(Divyang) certificate has to be either uploaded with the application form or to be produced at the time of document verification for availing age relaxation/ reservation under SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwD(Divyang)category.

10. No TA will be paid for written test/trade test.

11. The complete postal address (including telephone/ Mobile No. and E-mail address) of the present employer mentioning the name of the organization and whether the organization is a Govt./Semi Govt./ Autonomous/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Private Sector should be filled in application form, to be submitted in online mode.

13. Candidates should upload self-attested copies of certificates in support of their qualification (matriculation onwards), experience, pay drawn details, Date of Birth, Caste etc. Original certificates must be produced at the time of appearing in test/ interview as well as while joining.

14. A candidate is required to upload certificate/s in support of minimum required experience in proper format i.e. it should be on the organization letter head, bearing the date of issue, specific period of work, designation, pay drawn for each position, nature of duties performed, duly certified by the concerned issuing authority.

15. Incomplete application or without application fee or without supporting documents shall be summarily rejected. The candidate should keep a print out of filled application and acknowledgement sent through email after filling of application for her/his reference.

16. Candidates employed in Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs should upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer in support of their application. Candidates, who are not able to upload NOC at the time of filling online form, must bring the NOC at the time of document verification during trade test/interview.

17. For any technical query related to submission of online application, an email may be sent on id: staff_rect@iitp.ac.in.

18. Candidates are advised to mention their correct and active email address in the application, as all the correspondence like issuance of call letter or any other information will be communicated through email only.

19. Canvassing in any form/ bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post. “INTERIM ENQUIRY WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED”.

20. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication including appointment letter sent to the candidates.

21. The Institute will retain data of online applications received for non-shortlisted candidates only for three months after the completion of the recruitment process.

22. The Institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on total number of candidates, to be called for test/interview. Fulfillment of the prescribed essential and /or desirable qualifications per-se will not entitle a candidate automatically to be called for test/ interview.

23. Tie between candidates obtaining equal marks in written tests will be resolved in the following order of preference: (i) Candidates having lesser number of negative responses (ii) Candidate older in age

24. The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies advertised as per need/directives of Government of India or cancel the advertisement itself in toto or partially without any further notification or assigning any reason.

25. Degrees as referred above are those, which have been awarded by a recognized University/Institution.

26. The institute reserves the right to relax any of the qualification/experience/ age limit in exceptional cases, or in case of person already holding analogous position in Government Department/ Research and Academic Institution/ Industry.

27. The decision of the Institute regarding the conduct of written / trade test(s), verification of documents and selection would be final and binding on all applicants. No representation/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

28. Higher pay in prescribed pay level may be considered for exceptionally deserving candidates.

29. The Institute reserves the right to verify the antecedents and documents submitted by a candidate at the time of appointment or during the tenure of service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidate are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedent/ background and has suppressed the said information, then his/ her services shall be terminated and legal action may be initiated against such candidate.

30. Eligibility of candidate applying (through online mode only) for the post applied shall be considered as on the last date of closing online application interface, as per criteria specified in the advertisement.

31. The Institute reserves the right to extend the closing date for receipt of applications and also reserves the right to postpone/cancel the recruitment for any / all posts at any stage.
