| Qualification | B Tech (Mechanical/ Naval Architecture) from recognized and reputed institutes like IITs and NITs, etc, M. Tech. in Naval Architecture/ Naval Construction from reputed Institutes, – At least 15 years experience in Ship Design, Ship Building in a Major shipyard, Building of Ships, Ship repairs and/or FRP boats; Development of technical specifications for vessels; Contract Management; Project Management; Financial and contract negotiation and Technical Management of Vessels. Candidates having exposure to the Design and construction of Inland Vessels (Cargo, Passenger, Ro-Ro, Ro-Ro Pax, etc.) or Service Vessels required for the inland water sector such as Cutter Suction Dredgers, other types of Dredgers, Survey Launches, Workboats, Tugs, etc. Operation and Management of vessels; Risk management Budgeting and cost management will be preferred. |
