Eligibility  

Aspirants are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of the selected college in order to be admitted to tax law. If the student fails to meet the eligibility criteria of the college, his/her application will be rejected. Provided below are the eligibility criteria of Tax Law that candidates need to meet in order to be held eligible for the same:

a. To be eligible for a diploma program in Tax Law, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with not less than 50%-60% marks in aggregate. 

b. To be eligible for an undergraduate program in Tax Law, the candidate must have passed or qualified for the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. In addition, the candidate is required to score at least 50%-60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

c. To be eligible for a postgraduate program in Tax Law, an aspirant is required to have completed an LLB or its equivalent degree. Candidates who have completed a 5-year-long integrated law course shall also be considered eligible for admission to the PG Diploma or LL.M course in Tax Law. The candidate is required to score a minimum of 50% to 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

Note: Colleges have their own set of eligibility criteria that need to be satisfied before taking admission to a particular college. Candidates are, therefore, requested to go through the concerned college's eligible criteria prescribed for the course.
