ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates willing to apply for CLAT UG Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc, their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility CLAT UG are decided by the conduction body itself. The candidate’s eligibility for CLAT UG Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:

The candidate must be:
Citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit:
As per the revised standards, there will be no upper age limit for PG Program in CLAT.
Educational Qualifications:
1. An Ll.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Fifty percent (50%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PWD / NR I / PIO / OCI categories and Forty - Five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST categories.
2. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination in April / May 2024 are also eligible to apply.
Break of Tie:
In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under :
1- Higher marks in the component / section on legal aptitude in the CLAT exam.
2- Higher age.
3- Computerised draw of lots.

1- The exam in total consisted of 34 pages. Overall, it can be said that the difficulty level of CLAT PG was moderate.
2- There were 20 legal passages, each containing 6 questions related to the passage. The question paper was based on topics that have been of recent concern for the legal community.
