Educational Qualification
1. An Ll.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Fifty percent (50%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and Forty-Five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
2. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination in April/May 2024 are also eligible to apply.
Nationality/Citizenship
The candidate must be:-
1- Citizen of India, or
2- A subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962, to permanently settle in India, or

Age Limit
As per the revised standards, there will be no upper age limit for PG Program in CLAT.

2- There were 20 legal passages, each containing 6 questions related to the passage. The question paper was based on topics that have been of recent concern for the legal community.
3- The difficulty level of the paper was easy to medium. An analysis of the paper highlights the significance of recent judicial decisions in the examination. Though it may have come as a surprise to some students to find questions related to the Code of Criminal Procedure in the exam paper, it didn’t catch us off guard completely.
4- A well-prepared student, who has sincerely studied the recent judgments, CLATapult materials and question banks, will find the paper pretty doable.

CLAT PG is a national-level entrance exam that is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to seek admission to postgraduate courses in more than 70 affiliated colleges and 22 national law universities.
CLAT PG Examination: Selection Procedure
The selection process followed by PSUs in India that recruit through CLAT PG score is given below. It may vary from PSU to PSU.
1- PSUs regularly recruit Law Officers, Legal Advisors, Legal Executives through CLAT. Only the current year’s CLAT LLM score is accepted for selection to PSUs.
2- The selection process of PSU Recruitment through CLAT will include shortlisting on the basis of CLAT 2021 PG score of the applicant. Following, a round of Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted by the respective PSUs.
3- The final selection will be done with due weightage to CLAT PG scores along with Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Educational qualifications may also carry certain weightage.

CLAT PG Counselling Procedure
1. Candidates will receive an invite to register for the counseling process through SMS/email. The counseling information will be uploaded on the Consortium website as well. Candidates can log in to their CLAT account and register for the counseling process.
2. The registration process consists of Two steps:
Step – 1 Update your NLU preferences
You can provide a fresh set of NLU preferences. You can choose to provide all the NLUs OR you can choose to give preferences of only those NLUs in which you are interested. Candidates are strongly advised to give a minimum of five preferences.
Step – 2 Make an online payment of INR 50,000/
Candidates will have to make an online payment to the Consortium of INR 50,000/- to register for counseling through their login ID on the Consortium website. Candidates are requested to make the payment before the last date. Requests for payments after the last date will not be considered in any circumstance.
Now the Consortium has reduced the Counselling fee from 50,000/- to Rs.30,000/- for the General category candidates and Rs.20,000/- for ST/SC/OBC/BC/EWS/PWD and other reservation candidates.
Note: ONLY THOSE CANDIDATES WHO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE COUNSELLING REGISTRATION PROCESS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALLOTMENT OF SEAT.

Refresh your knowledge of important constitutional and legislative provisions, particularly those that may have been discussed in recent judgments; it would also be useful to ensure you are aware of historical case law and amendments related to such provisions, so that you have a more complete awareness of such provisions and the issues related to them.
CLAT PG 2024: Admission to the Examination Centres
1. The Examination Centre will be opened two hours before the commencement of the test. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.
2. The candidate must show, on-demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card shall not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall by the Centre Superintendent.
3. A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Examination from a seat or room other than the allotted one, the candidature shall be canceled.
4. During the examination time, the Invigilator will check the Admit Card of the candidates to ascertain the identity of each candidate. The Invigilators will also put their signature in the place provided in the Answer Sheet and on the Attendance Sheet.
5. A candidate who comes late shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centre under any circumstances.
6. Candidates must bring only the following documents on the day of the examination at the test center. Candidates who will not bring these will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
A) A printed copy of the Barcoded/ QR Admit Card downloaded from the website with passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Application form) pasted on it.
B) Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original and valid and like PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card / any other valid photo ID issued by the Government.
7. Candidates are not allowed to bring any barred item or any item which could be used for Unfair practices. Possession of any such article with the candidates inside the Centre premises will attract penalties for unfair practices.
CLAT PG 2024: Admit Card
Candidates can download the admit card for CLAT PG in below mentioned steps:
STEP 1- Visit the official website
STEP 2- Enter the registered mobile number and password in the space provided.
STEP 3- Click on the Login button.
STEP 4- Click on the Download Admit Card link given at the top right of the screen.
STEP 5- Download and save the admit card PDF on your device.
STEP 6- Take at least three printouts of the admit card on an A4 sheet for future reference.
CLAT PG 2024: Result
Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the results of CLAT.
STEP 1- Visit the official website
STEP 2- Click on the result link given in the notification section
STEP 3- Login using your mobile number and password
STEP 4- The CLAT PG scorecard will be displayed on the screen
STEP 5- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
CLAT PG 2024: Mode of Selection
Candidates will receive an invite to register for the counseling process through SMS/email. The counseling information will be uploaded on the Consortium website as well. Candidates can log in to their CLAT account and register for the counseling process.
