Description

The National Institute of Design (NID) has postponed the NID DAT prelims result 2024 date for the BDes programme. According to the revised schedule, the results will be released on April 4, 2024, on the official website. Previously, it was scheduled for March 28, 2024.

Candidates who are dissatisfied with their NID DAT preliminary results 2024 can request a recheck. Meanwhile, the weightage criteria for prelims and mains for preparing the merit list for NID BDes DAT 2024 will be released later.

Candidates who score well in the preliminary exam will be invited to participate in the NID DAT BDes 2024 main exam, which will be place on April 27 and 28, 2024. 

Steps To Check NID DAT Prelims Result 2024

  • First go to the official website.

  • Now on the homepage, click on the NID DAT Prelims Result 2024 link.

  • Submit the login credentials.

  • NID Prelims Result 2024 BDes will appear on the screen.

  • View and download the scorecard.

  • Keep a hardcopy for future reference.

Tie Break The BDes DAT Prelims Policy

If more than one contender receives the same marks, the following factors will be used to determine rankings-

  • The candidate who scored higher in Part B of the DAT Prelims will receive a higher rank.

  • If the tie remains, the candidate with the higher score in Part A of the DAT preliminary exams will be assigned a higher rank.

  • If the tie still exists, both candidates will be given the same rank.
