The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has postponed the NEET MDS 2024 exam date. According to the official notification, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery will now take place on March 18, 2024.

Previously, the exam was slated to take place on February 9, 2024. According to the most recent notice, the deadline for eligibility to appear for the exam is March 31, 2024. NEET MDS 2024 is being given for admission to 6,228 MDS seats in 259 dental colleges across India. 

The 17 topics covered in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program will be included in the exam syllabus for students. The NEET MDS 2024 examination will be divided into two parts, A and B, with 100 and 140 questions each. 

NEET MDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates for the NEET MDS 2024 should be PIOs, OCIs, or Indian nationals. 

• They must have a BDS degree and a temporary or permanent registration certificate from the State Dental Council (SDC) or the Dental Council of India. 

• Candidates must have completed or are expected to complete the 12-month rotatory internship on or before June 30, 2024.
