RAJASTHAN TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (REET) EXAM
Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER). The State-level RTET/REET exam is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for two different levels, Level I or Primary Teacher and Level II or Upper Primary Teacher.
REET EXAM PATTERN
REET Examination will be conducted on Pen and Paper mode or Offline mode. It will consist of a total of 150 Questions with 150 marks (1 Mark for each question). The total duration of the examination is 150 minutes. The section-wise number of questions and marks are indicated below:-

REET Paper Examination will be held as an Objective Type Offline Pen & Paper Based Test.
REET MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION
Main question paper shall be Bilingual (Hindi/ English).
REET MARKING SCHEME

Questions from the above-mentioned sections are asked in the REET examination where each section comprises 30 Questions and each question comprises 1 Mark thus summing up to 150 Marks.

RAJASTHAN TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (REET) EXAM
Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE). Candidates willing to apply for the REET Examination are required to fulfill certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification, etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility REET are decided by the conduction body itself. The candidate’s eligibility for the REET Examination is based on the fulfillment of the following conditions:-
1. Nationality
2. Age Limit
3. Educational Qualifications & Relaxations
4. Validity of Certificates & Number of Attempts
REET EXAMINATION NATIONALITY
Candidates should be citizens of India in order to be eligible for the REET Examination.
REET EXAMINATION AGE LIMIT
1. The candidate must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
2. There is no restriction on the Maximum Age limit prescribed by Authority.
REET EXAMINATION EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
The Candidate should have minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage -
1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known. (OR)
2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. (OR)
3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). (OR)
4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR)
5. “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher”.
REET EXAMINATION VALIDITY OF CERTIFICATE & NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS
1. The Validity Period of REET qualifying certificate for appointment will be 3 years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.
2. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a REET Certificate. A person who has qualified REET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
REET EXAMINATION ELIGIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS

Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE). Rajasthan Eligibility Examination For Teacher (REET) is an Indian entrance exam for teachers. The test is mandatory for obtaining teaching positions in public schools from grade 1 through grade 8. REET Paper 1 is intended for teachers who choose Grade 1 to Grade 5 and REET Paper 2 for Grade 6 to Grade 8. It is implemented by both the central and state governments of India.
REET EXAMINATION SELECTION PROCESS
1. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written exam.
2. In order to qualify the written exam, candidates should score minimum marks of their respective categories.
3. Candidates must also meet the minimum eligibility criteria on the basis of qualifying for the REET examination.
4. Persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc. may get concessions from some schools as per their reservation policy.
5. Once candidates clear the REET examination, they can apply to schools for the relevant teacher posts and undergo the selection procedure for appointment.
6. Candidates may note that qualifying for the REET examination would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
7. Those who have qualified for the exam but are not satisfied with their scores may appear again for improving their scores. Also, there is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a REET certificate.
