The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) result for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination (CHTE), 2025, on November 5, 2026. A total of 532 candidates have been provisionally recommended for Identification Verification (IV) against vacancies in various ministries and government departments. Candidates who participated in the examination can check their allocation status through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

The first round of allocation has been prepared based on candidates' performance in Paper I and Paper II, along with their submitted online post preferences. The sliding process and Identification Verification will be conducted on November 18, 2026, at the concerned SSC regional offices. Candidates can download their verification slips from November 13, 2026, at 5 PM.

The SSC CHTE 2025 recruitment process is being conducted to fill vacancies for Hindi Translator and related posts across various government departments. Candidates who submitted their option-cum-preference forms within the prescribed period were considered for the First Round of Tentative Allocation.

SSC CHTE 2025 First Round Allocation: Category-Wise Details

According to the official SSC notice, a total of 532 candidates have been provisionally recommended across different categories. The category-wise allocation details are given below.

The recommendation also includes candidates qualifying under horizontal reservation categories such as OH, HH, VH and PwD Others.

SSC CHTE FRTA Result 2026: Selection and Allocation Process

The First Round of Tentative Allocation has been prepared by considering candidates' performance in Paper I and Paper II, along with their online post preferences.

As per the official notice, the Paper I result was declared on November 4, 2025, and 3,642 candidates were shortlisted for Paper II. The Paper II examination was conducted on December 14, 2025.

A total of 2,724 candidates who submitted their option-cum-preference forms between September 8 and September 11, 2026, were considered for the further allocation process.

SSC CHTE 2025: Minimum Qualifying Marks

The Staff Selection Commission has prescribed category-wise minimum qualifying marks for Paper II of the Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2025.

The minimum qualifying percentages are as follows:

• UR Category: 30%

• OBC/EWS Categories: 25%

• Other Categories: 20%

In case of a tie between candidates, the commission will determine merit based on the following criteria:

• Marks obtained in Paper II.

• Marks obtained in Paper I.

• Date of birth.

• Alphabetical order of candidates' names.

SSC CHTE Sliding Process and Identification Verification 2026

The sliding process and Identification Verification for provisionally allocated candidates will be conducted on November 18, 2026, at the concerned SSC regional offices.

Candidates can download their verification slips from the official SSC website starting November 13, 2026, at 5 PM.

Physical attendance at the designated regional office is compulsory for candidates called for Identification Verification. Candidates who fail to attend the verification process will be treated as absent and excluded from the final result.

The commission has also withheld the results of seven candidates, while four candidates have been debarred or rejected. Marks of shortlisted and non-shortlisted candidates will be uploaded after the declaration of the final result.

Candidates provisionally recommended in the first round of allocation must attend Identification Verification on November 18, 2026, at their respective SSC regional offices.

The verification slip will be available for download from November 13, 2026, at 5 PM. Candidates should download the slip and follow all instructions mentioned in it.

Physical attendance is mandatory. Failure to appear for verification will result in the candidate being treated as absent and excluded from the final result.
