Their category was therefore displayed as UR in the earlier shortlisted lists.

To address candidates' concerns, SSC has revised the detailed lists to show both the category selected during the application process and the category against which each candidate was considered. The Commission has clarified that all other terms and conditions of the CBE result declared on October 12, 2026, remain unchanged.
