Candidates who have qualified the NEET PG 2026 examination are awaiting the counselling schedules announced by individual states for admission to MD, MS and postgraduate diploma courses. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the tentative schedule for Round 1 counselling, while respective state counselling authorities will conduct admission for state quota seats.

MCC conducts counselling for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) postgraduate medical seats. It also conducts counselling for 100% seats in deemed universities and central universities, along with other seats under its jurisdiction. State counselling authorities conduct the admission process for the remaining state quota seats as per applicable rules.
