The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close the online application window for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) October 2026 session tomorrow, September 25, 2026. Eligible foreign medical graduates who have completed their primary medical qualification must submit their application form and examination fee through the official NBEMS website by 11:55 PM.

The FMGE is conducted for foreign medical graduates seeking to fulfil the screening requirements for medical practice in India. The October 2026 session will be conducted as a computer-based examination on October 31, 2026.

Candidates who intend to appear for the upcoming session should complete the application process before the deadline. Applications without successful fee payment will not be considered.

FMGE October 2026 Application Fee

The total application fee for the FMGE October 2026 session is Rs 4,650, including the applicable GST.

Candidates can pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI. The payment must be successfully completed before the application deadline.

FMGE October 2026 Documents Required

Candidates should keep the required documents ready before starting the application process. The application requires scanned copies of documents such as:

• Passport-size photograph

• Primary medical qualification degree or pass certificate

The computer-based examination is scheduled for October 31, 2026. The FMGE October 2026 result is expected to be declared by November 30, 2026.
