The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the examination schedule for the CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2027 session. According to the official notification, the CA Intermediate examinations will be conducted from January 2 to January 12, 2027, while the CA Foundation exams will take place from January 3 to January 9, 2027.

ICAI has clarified that the examination dates will remain unchanged even if any day during the scheduled examination period is declared a public holiday by the Central Government, State Government or local authorities.

The examinations will generally be conducted for three hours. However, Foundation Paper 3 and Paper 4 will have a duration of two hours. Candidates can check the detailed schedule on the official ICAI website, icai.org.

ICAI ISA AT Schedule

Along with the CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2027 examination dates, ICAI has also released the schedule for the Information Systems Audit – Assessment Test (ISA AT).

The test is open to eligible members of the Institute and will be conducted on November 28, 2026, from 9 AM to 1 PM (IST). The examination will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

Important Points for CA January 2027 Exams

• CA Intermediate January 2027 exams will begin on January 2, 2027.

• CA Foundation January 2027 exams will start on January 3, 2027.

• Foundation Papers 1 and 2 will be conducted for three hours.

• Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will have a duration of two hours.

• Intermediate papers will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM.

• ICAI will not revise the examination dates if a scheduled exam day is declared a public holiday.
