The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will close the registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 on September 15, 2026, at 5 PM. Eligible candidates who have not yet completed their applications should submit the form before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

Candidates must complete the registration process through the official CAT website, iimcat.ac.in. A valid and unique email ID and mobile phone number must be maintained throughout the selection process. CAT 2026 registration began on August 3, 2026, at 10 AM.

CAT 2026 Important Dates

• Registration begins: August 3, 2026, at 10 AM

• Registration closes: September 15, 2026, at 5 PM

• Admit card release: November 4, 2026

• CAT 2026 exam: November 29, 2026

• Result: Expected in the first week of January 2027

CAT 2026 Exam Pattern

IIM Indore will conduct CAT 2026 in computer-based mode on November 29, 2026. The examination will be conducted in three sessions.

The CAT 2026 question paper will consist of three sections:

• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)

• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

• Quantitative Ability (QA)

The examination will have a total duration of 120 minutes. Candidates will receive 40 minutes for each section.

CAT 2026 Application Fee

Candidates must pay the registration fee while submitting the CAT 2026 application form. The fee is payable only once, irrespective of the number of institutes selected by the candidate.

• SC, ST and PwBD candidates: Rs 1,350

• All other category candidates: Rs 2,700
