NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Seat Matrix: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Round 2 seat matrix for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2026. A total of 659 new seats have been added across MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.
The updated seat matrix includes seats currently available for allotment as well as seats that could become available depending on the outcome of the counselling process.
NEET UG Counselling 2026: Round 2 Vacancy Details
According to the Round 2 seat matrix, 11,302 seats are listed under the clear vacancy category, while 12,283 seats are included under the virtual vacancy category.
Clear Vacancy: These are seats that are currently vacant and available for allotment in Round 2.
Virtual Vacancy: These are seats occupied by candidates but may become available if their request for an upgraded seat is accepted during the counselling process.
In Round 1 of NEET UG counselling 2026, MCC had offered 31,728 seats, with more than 29,000 seats allotted to candidates.
