Description
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started releasing the KVS NVS Tier-2 Result 2026 and final answer key for candidates who appeared in the recruitment examination for various teaching and non-teaching posts. The results are being announced phase-wise from August 17, 2026.
The recruitment drive is being conducted under Advertisement No. RECTT. NOTIFICATION/01/2025 for vacancies in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The Tier-II examination was conducted from March 27 to March 31, 2026.
According to the CBSE notice dated August 17, 2026, the first phase results have been declared for PGT (Computer Science), TGT (Computer Science), Finance Officer and Stenographer Grade-I. Results for the remaining posts will be released in subsequent phases.

Which KVS NVS Tier-2 Results Have Been Released?
CBSE has announced the Tier-II results for four posts in the first phase of the result declaration:
PGT (Computer Science)
TGT (Computer Science)
Finance Officer
Stenographer Grade-I
Candidates who qualify for PGT (Computer Science), TGT (Computer Science) and Finance Officer will be informed about the interview process through their respective application logins after the interview schedule is finalized.
Candidates shortlisted for Stenographer Grade-I will receive Skill Test call letters through their application login once the Skill Test schedule is finalized.
CBSE has clarified that results for the remaining posts will be released in phases over the coming days.
KVS NVS Tier-2 Final Answer Key 2026 Released
Along with the result declaration process, CBSE has also released the KVS NVS Tier-2 final answer key 2026. Candidates can use the final answer key to check the officially accepted answers after completion of the objection process.
The provisional answer key and scanned images of candidates' OMR answer sheets were previously made available through the designated online portal. Candidates were permitted to raise objections by paying the prescribed processing fee of Rs 1,000 per question within the specified deadline.
Only objections submitted online through the designated portal within the prescribed period were considered. Challenges submitted through email, post or any other mode were not accepted.

Candidates can check their Tier-II result through the official recruitment portal by following these steps:
Visit the official CBSE or KVS/NVS recruitment portal.
Open the KVS/NVS recruitment result section.
Click on the relevant Tier-II result link.
Log in using the required candidate credentials.
Select the applicable Tier-II result.
Check the qualification status and other details.
Download and save the result for future reference.
Candidates should keep their application details and roll number ready while checking the result.

What Happens After the KVS NVS Tier-2 Result?
The next stage of the recruitment process depends on the post applied for.
Candidates shortlisted for posts requiring an interview will receive Interview Call Letters through their application login. Similarly, candidates shortlisted for Stenographer Grade-I will be called for the prescribed Skill Test.
Candidates should also remain prepared for subsequent stages such as document verification and medical examination, wherever applicable.
Candidates for whom organisation or regional preference between KVS and NVS is applicable will also be required to submit their preferences through the application portal as instructed by the recruiting authority.

EMRS Tier-II Result 2026 to Be Declared Separately
Candidates who appeared for the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Tier-II Recruitment Examination should note that the EMRS result will be announced separately through the official EMRS/NESTS platform.
The KVS/NVS Tier-II result announcement should not be considered the EMRS result. Candidates who appeared for EMRS recruitment should follow the concerned official platform for updates.
Important Note for KVS NVS Candidates
The release of the first phase of results marks the beginning of the phase-wise KVS NVS Tier-II result process. Candidates whose posts are not included in the first phase should not assume that their results have been cancelled or withheld.
CBSE has stated that results for the remaining posts are being finalized and will be released in subsequent phases. Candidates should regularly check the official CBSE, KVS and NVS websites for result updates, interview schedules, Skill Test information and further recruitment instructions.
