AIIMS BSc Nursing Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the Round 1 seat allotment result for BSc (Hons) Nursing admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can check the allotment result through the official AIIMS examination website, aiimsexams.ac.in.

The Round 1 allotment list allows candidates to check the institute and seat category assigned to them. Seats have been allotted on the basis of the preferences entered by eligible candidates during the choice-filling process. The choice-filling window was open from 11 am on July 31 to 5 pm on August 6, 2026.

According to the published allotment list, 96 candidates have been assigned AIIMS Delhi for admission to the BSc (Hons) Nursing programme.

AIIMS BSc Nursing Counselling 2026: Who Can Participate in Round 2?

Candidates who received a seat in Round 1, selected Option 2 and fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions can participate in the second round of seat allocation.

Candidates who were considered during Round 1 but were not allotted any seat will also be considered automatically for Round 2.

However, candidates who were eligible for the first round but did not register or submit their choices will not be permitted to participate in Round 2. Such candidates can instead participate in the open round of seat allocation, subject to the applicable rules.

AIIMS BSc Nursing Seat Allotment 2026: How Seats Are Assigned

Seat allocation is carried out according to candidates' merit, preferences and applicable reservation rules. Candidates belonging to unreserved and eligible reserved categories may be considered for unreserved seats or institutes based on their merit.

When a seat is available under a particular category, preference is given to the candidate with the better merit position or higher rank, as applicable.

During Round 1, candidates were assigned an institute or seat based on the highest preference available to them at their respective rank.

If a candidate's preferred institute or seat was available under both the unreserved and applicable reserved categories, the allotment was made under the unreserved category wherever the rules permitted.

A reserved-category seat is considered for allotment to an eligible candidate from that category only when the corresponding preferred seat is not available under the unreserved category at the candidate's merit position.
