Description

NEET PG City Intimation Slip 2026 is scheduled to be issued by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on August 11, 2026. The slip will inform registered candidates about the city allotted for their NEET PG examination, allowing them to plan their travel and accommodation in advance.

The NEET PG 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on August 30, 2026, in a single shift through computer-based testing mode. According to the schedule, NBEMS will issue the admit card on August 27, while the deadline for declaring the examination result and the final date for completion of the mandatory MBBS internship are September 30, 2026.

NEET PG City Slip 2026: What Will It Contain?

After the city intimation slip is released, candidates will be able to access it through the official NBEMS websites, natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. Candidates will have to select the NEET PG 2026 City Intimation Slip link and log in using their application number, date of birth and password.

After downloading the document, candidates should retain a copy for future reference. It is important to note that the city intimation slip is different from the NEET PG admit card. The city slip will only indicate the examination city or town allotted to the candidate and will not provide the complete address of the test centre.

The exact examination venue, centre address and reporting or entry-related instructions will be mentioned on the admit card. NBEMS will allot examination venues through its prescribed allocation process and not on the basis of who completes the process first.

A total of 2,73,183 candidates have registered for NEET PG 2026, representing a 12.5% rise compared with the previous year. The examination is expected to be conducted in 340 cities through more than 1,300 designated test centres.

The NEET PG 2026 question paper will contain 180 multiple-choice questions instead of the earlier 200 questions. Consequently, the maximum marks have been reduced from 800 to 720.

The paper will be divided into five compulsory sections. Each section will contain 36 questions and candidates will receive 42 minutes to complete it. Once the allotted 42-minute period ends, that particular section will be locked and candidates will not be able to return to it.
