UP ITI Result 2026 for the NCVT and SCVT examinations has been released on August 10, 2026. Candidates who appeared for first-year, second-year or short-term certificate courses can now check their examination marks through the respective official portals.

For NCVT examination results, candidates need to use the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) portal. Information related to Uttar Pradesh ITI admissions is available on the official website of the State Council for Vocational Training, Uttar Pradesh (SCVTUP).

It is important to note that the ITI examination result and the fresh admission process are separate. Admission to ITI courses in Uttar Pradesh is primarily conducted on the basis of Class 10 merit, and no separate entrance examination is conducted. Candidates who submitted their admission applications between July 11 and August 7, 2026, should now wait for the merit list and seat allotment announcements.

How to Check NCVT ITI Result 2026

Candidates who appeared for the NCVT MIS ITI examinations can check their marks through the Skill India Digital Hub portal. They need to visit dgt.skillindiadigital.gov.in and access the Result or CTS AITT Mains Examination-2026 Result section.

To view the scorecard, candidates will have to enter their Permanent Registration Number (PRN) or roll number along with their date of birth. After submitting the required details, the NCVT ITI scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

Candidates should carefully verify the marks mentioned on the scorecard and download or save a copy for future reference.

UP ITI Admission 2026: Merit List and Counselling Schedule

Candidates applying for fresh admission to ITIs in Uttar Pradesh can visit the official SCVTUP portal at scvtup.in for admission-related updates.

The first merit list and seat allotment result are expected to be announced in mid-August 2026. Candidates allotted seats will be required to report to the concerned institute and complete document verification within four to five days from the date of allotment.

UP ITI 2026: Institutes, Seats, Fees and Trades

Uttar Pradesh has more than 300 government ITIs along with over 2,900 registered private ITIs. The available figures indicate that the state offers more than 5,000,000 seats annually across government and private institutions, covering more than 80 engineering and non-engineering trades.

For the admission process, the application fee is Rs 250 for candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes categories, while Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates are required to pay Rs 150.

The monthly tuition fee at government ITIs is Rs 40. Candidates are also required to pay a refundable caution money deposit of Rs 300.

UP ITI Admission 2026: Merit-Based Selection and Popular Trades

Admission to Uttar Pradesh ITIs is based on Class 10 merit. Electrician, Fitter and Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) remain some of the popular and highly sought-after trades.

Government ITIs with strong demand generally record higher merit requirements, with leading institutes often requiring around 80% to 85% marks in Class 10. Trades such as Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Turner and Machinist may record cut-offs of approximately 72% to 78% by the second round.

Candidates with marks in the range of 55% to 70% may also find opportunities in short-term certificate programmes and private ITIs, depending on seat availability and the merit of applicants.
