The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has published the Round 1 seat allotment result for MSc Nursing admissions 2026. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can now check their allotted institute and course through the official AIIMS examination portal.
The first-round allotment has been prepared on the basis of the preferences entered by eligible candidates during the choice-filling period conducted from July 14 to July 18, 2026.
Candidates who have secured a seat in Round 1 must complete the online seat acceptance formalities within the prescribed timeline. They are also required to report to their allotted AIIMS institute, including AIIMS New Delhi, as per the schedule specified by the authorities.

Candidates can access their allotment status by following these steps:
Visit the official AIIMS examinations website.
Locate the MSc Nursing 2026 admission section on the homepage.
Click on the notification for the Round 1 Online Seat Allocation Result.
Open the PDF containing the list of candidates and their allotted seats.
Check the allotted institute and course carefully.
Download and save the allotment result for future reference.
Candidates should also read the reporting instructions mentioned in the official notification and complete all required formalities within the specified deadline.

Documents Required for AIIMS MSc Nursing Admission
Candidates reporting to their allotted institute should carry the required original documents along with the necessary copies. The documents include:
Offer letter
Round 1 seat allotment letter
Final registration slip
AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 admit card
Class 10 certificate or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
BSc Nursing, BSc (Honours) Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing degree or provisional certificate issued by a recognised university
Mark sheets of the qualifying examination
Registration certificate as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) issued by the concerned State Nursing Council
Certificate or proof confirming recognition of the nursing college from which the qualifying degree was obtained
SC, ST, OBC-NCL or EWS certificate, wherever applicable, in the prescribed Central Government format
PwBD certificate, where applicable
Candidates should ensure that their certificates and documents meet the requirements specified by AIIMS before reporting for admission.
AIIMS MSc Nursing Counselling 2026: Round 2 Details
Candidates who participated in the first round of counselling can continue in the Round 2 process, subject to the applicable rules. Candidates who accepted their Round 1 seat while opting for upgradation can participate in the next round. Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1 will also be eligible for Round 2.
However, candidates who did not complete the registration or choice-filling process during Round 1 will not be considered for Round 2. Such candidates may be permitted to participate in the open round if AIIMS conducts one.
AIIMS has further stated that the preferences submitted during the first choice-filling window will automatically be carried forward to Round 2. Candidates will not be provided with a fresh opportunity to submit or modify their choices for the second round.
