The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has postponed the Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Chemical) Screening Examination 2026 in view of the ongoing flood situation across Assam. Consequently, the release of the APSC AE Admit Card 2026, which was scheduled for August 3, 2026, has also been delayed.

The OMR-based screening test was originally scheduled to be conducted on August 9, 2026 for recruitment to the Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical) posts under the Public Health Engineering Department (PHE), Assam, against Advertisement No. 31/2025.

The Commission has stated that revised dates for the examination and admit card release will be announced separately on its official website.

APSC AE Exam 2026 Postponement Notice

According to the official notification, the Commission has decided to defer the examination due to the prevailing flood conditions in the state.

The postponed examination relates to the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Chemical) under the Public Health Engineering Department, Assam, advertised through Advertisement No. 31/2025 dated September 9, 2025.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official APSC website for updates regarding the revised examination schedule.

The admit cards will now be issued after the Commission announces the revised examination schedule.

Once released, candidates can download their APSC AE Hall Ticket 2026 by logging in to the official portal using the credentials generated during the online application process.
