The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has announced the MHT CET CAP Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Result 2026 for BTech and BE programmes. Candidates who participated in the first round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) can now check their allotment status and download the allotment letter from the official counselling portal.

The institute-wise allotment list has also been published. Candidates who receive a seat must confirm their admission by accepting the allotted seat through their candidate login within the prescribed timeline.

As per the counselling schedule, students who have been allotted seats must report to their respective institutes between August 3 and August 5, 2026, along with all required original documents and photocopies for verification and admission.

How to Check MHT CET CAP Round 1 Allotment Result 2026

Candidates can follow the steps below to download their provisional allotment letter:

• First visit the official MHT CET counselling website.

• Click on the CAP Admission 2026 section.

• Navigate to the BTech/BE admission page.

• Select the Provisional Allotment or Institute-wise Allotment link.

• Enter your Application ID and Date of Birth.

• View your CAP Round 1 seat allotment result on the screen.

• Download and print the allotment letter for future admission formalities.

Documents Required for MHT CET CAP Round 1 Admission

Candidates must carry both original documents and self-attested photocopies while reporting to the allotted institute for admission.

The required documents include:

• SSC (Class 10) Marksheet

• HSC, Diploma, or B.Sc. Marksheet (as applicable)

• Qualifying Examination Marksheet

• Valid Entrance Exam Scorecard (MHT CET/JEE Main/NEET/NATA/CUET/GATE/GPAT/UCEED or other applicable examination)

• School Leaving Certificate (if required)

• Proof of Indian Nationality

• Domicile Certificate, Birth Certificate, or School Leaving Certificate indicating place of birth in Maharashtra

• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

• Caste Validity Certificate (for reserved category candidates)

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate (if applicable)

• Other certificates in the prescribed format, wherever applicable

• Domicile Certificate of the candidate
