Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced the CUET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026 for undergraduate admissions. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can now check their allotment status by logging in to the official BHU admission portal using their registered credentials.

Students who have been allotted a seat must accept the allotted seat and pay the admission fee by August 3, 2026, to confirm their admission. Failure to complete the process within the stipulated deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

Options Available After Seat Allotment

After the Round 1 allotment, candidates can choose one of the following options:

• Freeze: Select this option if you are satisfied with the allotted programme and wish to confirm your admission.

• Upgrade: Candidates seeking admission to a higher-preference programme can opt for the upgrade option. If a better seat is allotted in the next counselling round, they will be required to pay the difference in the admission fee. If no upgraded seat is allotted, the previously accepted seat will remain valid.

Candidates can follow these steps to access their allotment result:

• First visit the official BHU CUET admission portal.

• Click on the Login option available on the homepage.

• Enter your CUET UG application number, password, and captcha code.

• Click on the Login button.

• Your Round 1 seat allotment result will appear on the screen.

• Download and print the allotment letter for future admission formalities.

BHU Round 1 Cut-Off 2026

BHU is expected to release the Round 1 Cut-Off 2026 shortly. The cut-off list will be published separately for each course and category. It will indicate the minimum CUET UG score required for admission to various undergraduate programmes offered by the university.
