The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the NEET UG 2026 Karnataka merit list, featuring the scores of 69,170 eligible candidates who selected Karnataka as their state while filling out the National Testing Agency (NTA) NEET UG 2026 application form. The merit list has been uploaded on the official KEA website and will serve as the basis for the state's undergraduate medical counselling process.

The announcement was made by KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS. According to the published list, the candidate who secured All India Rank (AIR) 20 has emerged as the top-ranked candidate in the Karnataka state merit list.

KEA NEET UG 2026 Merit List Details

The merit list has been prepared using the NEET UG 2026 scores of candidates who opted for Karnataka in their NTA application. It is available in PDF format and has been arranged in descending order of merit.

Candidates can locate their details by searching the PDF using their NEET roll number, application number, or name. The list is provisional and has been issued to facilitate the Karnataka state counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses.

Steps to Download the KEA NEET UG 2026 Merit List

Candidates can follow these steps to access the score list:

• First visit the official KEA website.

• Navigate to the UGNEET-2026 section.

• Click on the NEET UG 2026 Merit List/Score List link.

• Download the PDF file.

• Use the search feature to find your NEET roll number, application number, or name.

Candidates are advised to save a copy of the merit list for use during the counselling process.

Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule

The Karnataka Examinations Authority has not yet announced the detailed counselling timetable. The counselling process will be conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH programmes offered by participating colleges across the state.

The online registration for Karnataka NEET UG 2026 counselling commenced in July 2026 and was extended until July 30, 2026. Only candidates who completed registration within the prescribed period will be eligible to participate, as the registration window will not be reopened in later counselling rounds.

KEA will soon release the complete counselling schedule, including:

• Document verification

• Seat matrix publication

• Choice filling (option entry)

• Mock seat allotment

• Round 1 seat allotment

Expected Counselling Process

Following the release of the merit list, KEA is expected to begin document verification, after which the seat matrix will be published. Candidates will then be allowed to submit their college and course preferences before the mock allotment process.

The first round of Karnataka NEET UG 2026 counselling is likely to begin in August 2026, while subsequent rounds, including Round 2 and the Mop-Up Round, are expected to take place in September 2026.

Candidates seeking admission under the All India Quota (AIQ) must separately participate in the counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Applicants should keep all essential documents, including their NEET UG admit card, scorecard, application details, identity proof, and other admission-related certificates, ready for the counselling process.
