The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the examination timetable for the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) April-May 2026 Semester Examination. The internet-based remote proctored examination will be conducted on July 31, August 1, August 7, and August 8, 2026.

According to the official schedule, the examination will be held in two sessions each day:

• Morning Session: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

• Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

The NITTT programme has been introduced to provide in-service training for newly appointed faculty members in AICTE-approved technical institutions. The programme focuses on improving teaching and professional skills through assignments, continuous assessment, and a final online remote proctored examination. Participants are required to complete all components of the programme within three years to become eligible for probation confirmation and future career advancement.

NITTT 2026 Admit Card

Candidates appearing for the April-May 2026 semester examination can download their NITTT 2026 admit card from the official website.

To access the hall ticket, candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth.

NITTT 2026 Exam Pattern

The examination will have the following format:

• Mode: Online Remote Proctored Examination

• Language: English only

• Question Type: Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

• Total Questions: 100

NITTT 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates should follow these important guidelines while appearing for the examination:

• Keep the NITTT 2026 admit card and a valid photo ID ready for verification.

• Candidates without the required documents will not be permitted to take the examination.

• A transparent water bottle is allowed during the test.

• The examination will be monitored in real time by live human proctors.

• If any unusual activity is observed, candidates may be asked through the chat window to rotate their laptop or webcam to display their surroundings.

• Candidates should regularly monitor the chat window and promptly follow the instructions issued by the proctor.

• Warning notifications may appear if suspicious behaviour is detected. Ignoring repeated warnings may result in termination of the examination.

• Sheets of paper, notebooks, or any other material for rough work are not permitted during the online examination.

Candidates are advised to read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully and comply with the remote proctoring guidelines to ensure a smooth examination experience.
