Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has published the UPTAC Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2026 for Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling. Candidates who participated in the second round of counselling for BTech, BDes, and Integrated MTech programmes can now view their allotment status by visiting the official UPTAC portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in.

Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotted to them must select the "Freeze" option to accept the seat and proceed with the admission process. Those seeking a higher-preference institute or course in the subsequent counselling rounds can opt for the "Float" option. Applicants who no longer wish to participate in the counselling process can withdraw their allotted seat within the stipulated timeline.

The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) is conducted by AKTU on behalf of the Department of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, for admission to undergraduate and integrated programmes offered by AKTU-affiliated colleges and other participating institutions across the state. Seat allocation is carried out on the basis of national-level entrance examination scores such as JEE Main, CUET UG, CUET PG, and NATA, depending on the programme.
