The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the registration deadline for Karnataka UGNEET 2026 counselling. Eligible candidates can now complete the registration process until July 30, 2026, providing additional time for students seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH programmes for the 2026–27 academic session.

The extension is applicable only to candidates who appeared for NEET UG 2026 and are eligible for medical admissions but have not yet registered with KEA.

In addition, KEA has announced that it will soon activate a NEET UG 2026 Roll Number Linking Facility. This feature is intended for candidates who have already registered through UGCET 2026 and only need to link their NEET roll number with their existing application. Such candidates will not be required to submit a fresh registration form.

How to Register for Karnataka UGNEET 2026

Candidates can complete the application process by following these steps:

• First visit the official KEA website.

• Click on the UGNEET 2026 Registration link.

• Register by providing the required personal and academic information.

• Enter your NEET UG 2026 details.

• Upload the prescribed documents in the required format.

• Pay the applicable registration fee.

• Submit the application form.

• Download and save the confirmation page for future use.

Applicants should keep the following documents ready while completing the registration:

• NEET UG 2026 Scorecard

• NEET UG 2026 Admit Card

• Class 10 Mark Sheet

• Class 12 Mark Sheet

• Aadhaar Card or any valid photo ID

• Recent Passport-size Photograph

• Signature

• Category Certificate (if applicable)

• Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

Important Update for Candidates

The deadline extension has been introduced to ensure that all eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates who could not register earlier have another opportunity to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates who have already completed UGCET 2026 registration should wait for the activation of the NEET roll number linking facility, which will enable them to associate their NEET details with their existing profile without submitting a new application.
